Chapter 5

Alice P.O.V. 

I said some cruel things but can you blame me! I have no one I mean i moved here form my mom and she barely is even home! I have to stay with that stupid man i have to call my step dad. He abuses me and yells at me. He told me if i told my mom he would make sure i suffered a lot even if my mom divorced him. He said that he would put me in the hospital. Anyway I just can't let anyone get close to me right now. I don't want emotions. "Can i have a moment with Alice Aoyama." a person said through the door. I stood up and walk to the door. I was shocked with what i had heard. Running towards the office i was dodging people with free periods. I got my skate board and went out of the school only to find myself going towards the hospital.

Damian P.O.V.

I was at my free period and was just listening to music when i saw Alice running to the office then out of the school. I didn't want to let her go alone but i needed to stay here. I went to the office and asked them what was going on. They looked at me and said "None of your concern sir she is just free to leave right now, if she tells you what's going on then you will know." I just glared at them and walked out.

Flashback to when Alice got called

"It's your mother...she has been injured very badly...she may not live through this...i'm so very sorry." "What!"-Alice 

Alice P.O.V. 

Tears running down my face i arrived at the hospital. I went in and found my step dad. "She is in there. She needs sleep so don't go in." I just glared at him and went into the room where my mom lays there with her eyes closed. "Mom?" Her eyes opened and once she saw me she gave me a weak smile. "Hi my baby girl." I was full of tears and hugged her tight but not to hurt her. "It's okay if i leave i will always watch over you...here take this." She gave me a ring and i looked at it and back at her. "I shouldn't it's yours..." I said through my tears. "Please take it...I don't have....that...long..." She smiled at me and put her hand on my cheek before she closed her eyes and her hand fell.

BBEEEEEEPPPPPP

I didn't know what to do. I heard it beep. People started to come into the room and pulled me away from her. I was crying very loudly. I watch as they tried to bring her back. They did three shocks and looked at me with sad eyes. At that moment i fell to my knees crying my heart out. I went over to the bed shaking and moved her hair out of her face. My step dad came into the room to see me laying my head on her stomach crying. He went pale and had tears ready to come. "No no no this can't be happening." He said to himself. They said that we had to leave. I chose to go back to school to be away from my step dad. He went home a mess. I don't blame him i was a mess to but when i got back teachers were giving my sympathetic eyes. I looked at them and glared and they instantly went back to going were they need to go. 

"RRRIIIINNNNG!"

It was the final school bell meaning that it was time to go but i didn't want to go. I went to a tree and sat there...thinking. I didn't think i would start crying so i put my head down so no one saw i was crying. Soon i stopped crying.

Damian P.O.V.

I couldn't stop thinking about Alice. Is she alright? I thought to myself as i packed up and left. I was out of school when i saw Alice sitting at a tree. She seemed shocked and she put her head down. When she looked up she moved her sleeves to her eyes. At that instant i went over to her. "Hey you alright?" I asked in a soft voice. She looked at me and glared. " I'm fine" she said quietly. "When girls say that there fine they aren't fine." I said while i sat next to her.

Alice P.O.V.

"Well then i'm great. You can leave me alone." I said in a sharp quiet tone. He laughed before saying "Well then with that attitude i'm not leaving. Believe it or not i do care for you." He said lightly. I felt my eyes widen but then narrow. "Your lying!" I shouted. I was shocked with myself and he was shocked as well. I quickly looked around. I saw no one around so i relaxed a little. "Hehe then let me prove it to you." I looked at him and then...

Damian P.O.V.

When she looked at me i took that moment to move and then our lips locked. I opened my eyes slightly to she her shocked. I laughed against her lips. She was trying to move away so i grabbed her arm and moved her closer. Still struggling i pinned her to the tree so that she couldn't move at all. 

Alice P.O.V.

I was shocked and couldn't move. I thought to myself that it wasn't that bad. A few tears dropped and i gave in. The kiss felt like it was going on for hours. I felt him finally pull away smirking. I was flushed and looked away from him. "I told you i care for you. Ever since i saw you i wanted you by my side. I didn't want any guy looking at you or touching you." My eyes widened as i heard him. My vision got blurry and i felt warm tears on my cheeks. I didn't want to show him that i was weak but i couldn't stop. "M-M-My mom...she----she passed away this afternoon." I said through my tears. I felt warmth on my whole body to only look up at Damian holding my against his chest. "I'm here. I'm here. Thank you." I heard him and was relaxed a little more. Then i heard him say thank you. I looked at him and said "For what?" He pulled away "For telling me what was going on."
