Chapter 3

Juvia POV
"That was a good night yesterday." I said. Gray nodded. "Yes, it was but we have to keep it a secret." I enjoyed these special moments we had together. Although other members couldn't know about it. I still felt better. "Okay. We should go back home now. We got our reward so let's go." I said in a confident tone. We just finished a hard job that required doing magic tricks. The spells were tough and hard to do. We have 2 million Jewel. We split it by half. 1 for me and 1 for my beloved. "Can you still believe Natsu of all people would do that?" Gray asked. "I have to say, I am surprised but it was obvious from the start that they liked each other." I said. "Yeah. The charm spell was broken when Lucy met Natsu. That means their...something, and something about destinies?" Gray said. I'm surprised these words came out of his mouth. He never talks about destiny or togetherness. "Wow. The day has been just great." I said. "I'm here standing beside my one true love and nothing can get even better." I said. Gray smiled, he was used to me saying this but now that we're together I can be more open with him. "When we get to the guild, do you want to go to look for some information on how water becomes ice?" Gray asked. "Sure. We could explore how the ice melts to become water and how both of them are the same element. I know a lot of this stuff." I said. "Of course you do." Gray said. My heart melted as we held hands and made our way back. Finally Gray and I will become the ultimate team of water and ice! We had to let our hands go, but Gray actually hesitated for a moment.

Jellal POV
"I hope you are happy to join the guild." Mackarov said. "I am. I'm doing this to help fix my sins. Meredy has taken over Crime Sorciere but she'll manage." Master nodded. I had a red guild Mark. One of my favorite colors. I walked out. "Hey! We match!" Erza's was blue and mine was red. What a coincidence. "So what do you have in mind?" I asked. Then Erza randomly jammed a cheesecake into my mouth. "Try it! It's really good. Mmmmm." She ate. "Oh no! I finished it." She said. I sweatdropped. "But it was really good." I said. "No worries. I'll have Mira make some more." She said. Then I grabbed both of her shoulders. "We need to talk." I whispered to her. Why was she acting so normal as if last night was a mistake? .......but the cheesecake was really good. Then once we realized how long we were in this position, we both flushed deep red and I let go. She put me back on my feet and I let go of her hand. "It is really good." I said. And we turned away from each other in embarrassment. Levy and Gajeel were making faces at the whole situation. Then they laughed. "Hey... Jerza! Are you coming to see if the whole Lucy and Natsu sleeping thing is real?" Mira asked. "Sure. Why not?" Erza said. I silently said yes.

Before we could completely go, we lagged around the back of the group. "What's going on with you?" She smiled. "What do you mean? I'm acting normal." She said. "I'll tell you when the time's right." I quickly stole a kiss from her when no one was looking. Her face was a fresh shade of red. I was red as well. "Okay." I smiled and walked past her.

Mira POV
I just sent happy up to take a picture. He was taking too long so I grabbed a ladder out of nowhere and looked. I gasped at what I saw. Natsu had his arm around Lucy's waist, and she had hers around his neck and they were sleeping awfully close together. He rested his chin on top of her head. I opened the window. "It's true! I'm going in." Cana and Levy were yelling insults. I ignored them and kept going. Happy was passed out sleeping peace peacefully at the bay window. I climbed in. Erza, Levy, Cana, Gray, Juvia, Gajeel, and Gray were all in here. "Wow. I guess flame brain really does sleep with her." They moved. "N-Natsu.." Lucy mumbled. "Lucy...." Natsu snored. "I love you...." She said. Everyone gasped. "Operation crumbled. Juvia, Cana, Gajeel, and Jellal get outta here!" I whispered harshly. They left. "I love you..." Natsu mumbled, tightening his grip around Lucy. He then rolled on top of her. "Kyaaaaaaa!!!!!" She screamed, waking Natsu up. "Ahhhhhh!!!" He roared, he rolled all the way to her window. She ran to her bathroom. They were very far from each other. "MIRAJANE WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY HOUSE!!!!!?!! Get out of here all of you!!!!!!!!" Natsu was about to hop out. "Not you! You have to tend to my sickness." She Lucy kicked even ERZA outta here. I just ran out.

Lucy POV
Happy woke up in all the confusion. "Happy, go home." Natsu said. "But Natsu.." He stopped him. "Go home. I need to look after Lucy. I'll see you in the morning at our house. If I don't show up, come here." Happy nodded. He didn't say 'Aye.' He just flew away. I scrambled to my feet and sat on the bed. Natsu did the same. "What happened?" I shrugged. "You rolled on top of me. And plus.. Why was Mira here?" Natsu scratched his head. "She asked me if I sleep with you and I said yes but she didn't believe it and I told her she could come look for herself." He said. I blushed horribly.
"Natsu, when she asked if you slept with me... She meant," I explained in his ear. Now he blushed. "Wait, she thinks we... Why? I mean.... We wouldn't and we're also nakama so that would be a...." He said awkwardly.
"I'm actually surprised you know this stuff." I retorted. He huffed.
"I'm not an idiot." He said.
"Of course you're not. But the next time someone asks you that, just say no." I said. I sighed in relief.
"So what did you dream about?" He asked. "I dreamt of me... I think I was future Lucy. I was in heaven.. And you were there.. And you died too... I told you something.... It was really true." I said. "What did you say?" He asked. "I said.... Never mind, tell me about your dream." I asked. "It was like a presentation of all the times I almost lost you." He said. "I also said something to you..." I wonder what it was. "Whatever it was I hope we can sleep some more. I am so tired." I said and I turned around to keep sleeping.

Me, Happy, and Natsu were walking to the guild. Everybody was acting weirder than usual. Mira smiled as usual, Gray and Juvia were smirking, Erza was actually not trying to kill anyone, and Jellal had a creepy smile. I walked up the counter. "So I heard you guys muttering in your sleep." Mira beamed. "Okay, that's just creepy!" I yelled. "Do you want to know what you said?" Mira asked. I leaned in. "You said, I love you and after a minute he repeated and said the same thing. So I suggest you guys confess to each other." I blushed. "Don't tell him! I'll tell him in my own time." I quickly said before Natsu came over. "Do you want to go for a job? Because it's your turn." I smiled. "Sure. I just need to go pack my things." I ran home. On my way, I saw Ari. "Hey Lucy, can I come with you on your job? I really need some experience." She asked. "Sure. It's my turn to pick the job so you can trail along." She said bye and ran back to the guild.

I packed up my stuff. As I was packing, Natsu appeared at my bedside. "You know I have super hearing, right?" He said suddenly. My heart started beating really fast and I felt a pain in my chest. "Yeah, of course I do." He all of a sudden came really close and bumped his forehead against me. I blushed so bad and my heart sped up. "I can your heart beating really fast. I sense there's something wrong. What's wrong, Lucy?" He asked. "Natsu, I've been having really bad dreams. I'm always future Lucy. She died and she went to heaven. My dreams are always about losing you. She lost you and....." Natsu moved a little closer. "And...?" I sighed. "She told me to tell you something before she died." Natsu's gaze deepened. "She told me to hold on to you and never let go and to protect you." Natsu backed away. He had a smile fixated on his face. "Oh! Then I'm fine!" He said. I giggled. Then I hugged him. I held on for a while. Then as I backed away, I was going to tell him. "She told me to say before it's too late.......................................... I-I love you, Natsu." He was actually blushing now. "I love you too, Luce!" He said. I don't think he understood what that meant. I sweatdropped. He thinks of me as a nakama. (FRIENDZONED FOR LIFE!) Oh well, at least. I finally told him. And on time too. Ari was here. "C'mon Luce! Let's go!" He held out his hand and I grabbed on. Just like the beginning.

Ari POV
I have a feeling that something happened between them because Lucy was acting weird... And Natsu was... Well Natsu. Happy flew around but I don't think he knew what was going on. "So what job did you pick?" I asked. "This one!" Lucy held up a flier. "SAVE US FROM THE MONSTER 4 MILLION JEWEL REWARD." I read aloud. "Wow! This must be a serious mission." Natsu smiled. "You bet it is! The monster is a killer beast!" He said. I looked closely at the picture. "Hmmmmmm. That looks promising." I saw it. It was the creature from my dream.
