《Chapter 2》dream chapter

Heads up: Storm chapter dream

Third Person P.O.V
It's 3 in the morning and Alex is lashing in bed having nightmares about the past

Alex's POV

I woke up from a dream about a flooding sink to find myself sorounded by flooding water. I looked outside to see rain pouring out of the grey cloudy sky. I quickly remember my brother sleeps in the basement. I take the plunge and try to swim into our basement. I make it to see him unconscious stuck by his desk that got knocked over. I swim over and try to get him free when my fingers rub over a pressure point. No pulse. I start to cry and swim up when someone slams the basement door shut and locked me in. I start panicking because I started loosing breath. I hear a muffled scream and turn to see my mom knocked out by my dad. He then walks over to me.
"You're gonna wish you hadn't seen that kid."
And then he locked my ankle on a chain with a giant black ball on the end. Then he opened the door and left. Everything started to fade until it was complete darkness. Then my face started to burn. It felt like I was on fire. I opened my eyes a milimeter. Dad was punching me.
"You are worthless!" hit.
"A mistake!" hit.
"The condom broke." hit.
"We were going to abort you." hit.
"No one wants you alive!" hit. But i hear my mom's voice: stay alive! You can do it Alexander! Stay aliiive!"

Then Alex woke up panting, tears leaking from his eyes. Maybe everything dad said was true.
He pulled up his sleeves to see many red cuts.

I sneak out of bed and go to my bag. I grab some Ambien™ but before I take some I thought I heard John rustle as if he was awake
Alex you're just paranoid
and I take 2 of the pills. I hop back in bed and start drifting off into a nice peace of nothing.
