I read the caption " Glad I get to spend the rest of my days with this cutie 😍" I immediately set my phone down. Grant: What is she doing? Candice: What's who doing? Grant: Don't worry about it. I grabs her and a we stay like that for the rest of the car ride. We get to my apartment and we start watching a movie. Soon Candice's phone buzzes.
Candice POV It's from people news and the notification reads " LA Thoma and Grant Gustin still madly in love. What am I seeing? Nope, I 'm going crazy. They broke up. Don't get mad at him stay calm. Grant: What was that? Candice: oh...nothing. Grant: I know you're lying Candice: You didn't break up with LA. Grant: Yes I did. Candice: Well apparently she doesn't think so. Grant: You saw the post. Candice: Grant, yes I saw the post, were you just gonna try to hid it from me? Grant: ... Candice: C'mon. Call her, tell her to delete it or post something that makes people think it's over. Grant: Okay I'm sorry I told her that it was over and she seemed like she knew what was going on but I 'll call her.
Grant POV I dial LAs number. LA: Hey Grant. Grant: Hey. LA: What's up? Grant:Why did you post that photo? LA: What photo? Grant: You know the one I'm talking about. I thought you were fine with this. LA: Well remember that guy that I liked? Well he doesn't want it with me, so I need you back. Grant: LA no. I'm sorry you didn't get what you wanted but we are done. LA: Grant we are making so much money with this relationship. Don't you still want that? Grant: Not if I'm not happy. A relationship should not be about money. I should have never starting this fake thing. LA: What is really all that fake? Grant: La I can't say that.
I walk out of the room so Candice can't hear me.
Candice POV Grant walks into the bedroom I turn the volume down and try to listen in. Grant: Okay LA your right. Most of that relationship wasn't fake. But I'm in love with someone else. LA: Grant I love you. You proposed to me, was that fake? You say you have loved Candice forever, but you still proposed. Grant: La, I loved you and I thought that Candice was never gonna work out. I left you because I was done with playing games. LA: I want to be with you, I should never had agreed to doing this. I miss you and the dogs. I want to move back in. Grant: You can't come back. You may still love me but I don't want to be with you anymore. LA: Iwant you. Grant: Stop LA. We are done. LA: You can't leave me you love me. Grant: I'm never gonna love you if you force me to love you.
I run to the bedroom and grab the phone out of his hand.
Candice: Hey, leave him alone. He has already told you that he's done. Maybe you should move on from you life and try to find another way to make money. LA: Hey Candice.... I didn't think you had that in you and by the way, I make way more money than you do for just being a wife to the only star of the flash. I'm gonna move back in to my house and clean up your crap before i get there.
Grant can hear the whole thing. He grabs the phone and hangs it up. I start to cry. I can't do this anymore. Grant POV I pull Candice in for a hug. This should be happening, everything was fine. Grant: Candice, you are the most amazing person I know. La is just jealous. I can't believe she said that. Candice: Grant, I think we need a break. Grant: Candice everything is perfect right now. Candice: Grant is it really? You need to figure out your problems before I can be fully dedicated to this thing. If I'm gonna put all this effort it in I want to be for something that not gonna get torn to pieces. Grant: Candice, please stay. Candice: Grant, she hates me. She's gonna try to rip me apart until she has you back. So when you get her calm for a while then we can talk again, but for now we need to end this.
As I watch Candice walk out the door. All this anger builds up inside of me. Candice is the love of my life and I'm not gonna let her get away that easy.
I sit on the couch for 10 minutes and then I hear a knock. I open the door. It's LA. Grant: leave. LA: No I love you and you love me.
She pushes me up against the wall and starts to kiss me and unbuckles my belt.
I push her off. Grant: LA get out. LA: Fine it was worth a shot. Grant: We need to talk about this. LA: Grant, there was something between us. Grant: Yes LA, there WAS. Now I don't want anything to do with you. You hurt Candice. Why did you say those things? LA: She's never going to love you like I do. Grant: That's not an explanation. LA: Okay fine I'll leave. Ijust thought you were making a bad decision and wanted to make sure you still wanted to go through with it. Grant: Yep. Now please leave and don't ever talk to me or do anything like this again. LA: I'm sorry for the way I acted. Grant:You should be. LA: I'm gonna move to Ohio. Grant: Great. See yah never. LA: Okay bye Grant, thanks for everything. Grant: La leave. LA: I love you. Grant: Leave. LA: Okay thanks for nothing.
She walks out the door and I lock it. I still on the couch and try to think of a way to show Candice how much she means to me. ________________________________ That one got a little hectic.
