there is this thing tied to us, to our finger more specifically, it symbolizes a love that will be forever still.

and today, just like any other day, i lim changkyun, had brought the honey to its bee.

"excuse me miss? i believe this is yours."

successfully grabbing the attention of the young girl, changkyun sends a soft smile towards her, not forgetting about the rectangular object in his grasp.

the young girl immediately turns around to retrieve the lost item that changkyun had found.

once she had a firm grasp onto it, she finally looks up to meet eyes with the boy only to become increasingly flustered as she tried to frantically voice out her thanks to the boy.

"thank you very much! if you would like, we could-"

her attempt at coaxing the boy into a date had been cut short as he began to point across one of the aisles in the bookstore. following his finger, the girl had noticed a presence other than theirs in the aisle, their fingers lightly skimming over the spines of hardcovers as they looked for the perfect story, blonde hair framing their face as they tilted their head to the side.

"actually," changkyun began, averting the girls attention from the blonde across the aisle back to himself. "she was the one who found it."

it seemed as if the world had stopped for the young girl as she stared at the blonde. she trembled slightly as she looked up at changkyun for any assistance on what to do.

noticing her expression, an idea popped into changkyun's mind.

"heeey! since she technically found it for you first, why don't you walk over there, introduce yourself, and then thank her!" changkyun voiced.

"or you could thank her and then introduce yourself?" he muttered quietly, as he lightly shoved her in the direction of the unsuspecting blonde.

hearing a slight croak of an 'okay' from the girl, changkyun knew that she was prepared enough.

now he watched as the distance between the red string disappeared into nothing as the two girls had now come face-to-face.

"I guess my work here is done."

smiling slightly, changkyun turns and walks out of the book store, hair bouncing and heels clacking against the sidewalk as he makes his way over to his friend's workplace.
