an- Hey, this is Emmalee here, and my collab writter is Meghan! Go check out her own story, "My Summer with One Direction" and then fan her @xoxo_may101 and then come and read this story.
If you've reads Meghan's story, YOLO, the character is the same one here. It's Avery McCollins.
So, yeah, here's the story!
Avery's POV
I had my headphones in and I was dnacing around my bedroom, just like I do every time I hear One Direction. That band is my favorite band of all time. I listen to them all the time and I even have millions of posters all over my walls. That's why I believe my room is the best of all.
I'm sorry, I didn't intorduce myself! I'm Avery McCollins, and I live in the small town of Harper Creek, New Jersey. I love this town because I've lived here all my life and I would never trade my past for the world. My life has been pretty good so far, and I don't really want to change it.
Okay, so like I said, I was dancing around my room. I am a pretty bad dancer, but my arms were flailing all over the place. I was dancing like a total maniac, and I am suprised I haven't knocked anything over yet. Right when I was saying that, I tripped over my suitcases lying on the floor and I got myself back up and turned the music off, deciding that maybe dancing wasn't the best thing to do right before you're about to leave for vacation.
My older sister and I are going on a cruise for vacation. I've never been on a cruise before, but Gemma has. She's twenty-five years old and just got out of college, and our parents thought we needed some bonding time since we've been away from each other so long, so they decided to stick us on a cruise together, with millions of things to do. Us being six years apart means we can both go in the club there, but she will hang out with much different people than me. And she doesn't like One Direction. Then again, she's six years older than me so it's not very suprising.
Just when I had agthered the rest of my things and was about to take all of my stuff down to my living room, my door creaked open and I knew exactly who it was- Logan. Logan is my adorable little brother, and he is the perfect brother. He is so sweet and kind, and he will definitely be a great boyfriend the day he turns twelve. As for him and his six year old self, I think he can wait a little longer for girls.
He quietly walked in my room and wrapped his arms around my leg, and it was so sweet when he starting sobbing and muttered, "Please...don't...leave....Avery!"
I knelt down and hugged him so hard that I almost chocked him and looked straight in his eyes and said, "I will be back before you know it, buddy. Don't worry."
With that and a single tears streaming down my face, I took his hand and toom a bag while he took the smaller one and dragged it behind him.We got to the stairs and I took the bag from him, thanking him of course, and carried him down the stairs while I now dragged both bags behind me.
When I got downstairs, I saw my older sister waiting for me when we got there. All of us siblins always had a special bond, and it'll break little Logan's heart to see us both leave, especially since Gemma just got back from college a week ago.
Gemma went and took Logan from my arms while I adjusted my bags to carry it outside without looking like a lunatic while I did that. Gemma was driving us, since Isort of, well, totaled my car... Yeah, that's another story, but anyways I was gathering my bags when my mom and dad came up to me and told me it was time to go. Gemma already had her bags in the car because there were none in sight, and then Logan took a hold of both of our hands and kissed them, and we both awwed. He was going to be the perfect boyfriend when he grew up!
I took my bags in hand and waved goodbye to my parents and Logan, and we sat down in the car and took off.
The docks were only about a half hour away, so we were soon there and we unloaded our luggage and made sure we had everything. We gave our bags to the lady who checked out our luggage and we got it through, and then we gave our passports and then we were let into the main lobby. It was gorgeous. There was a huge multi-colored glass window ontop of us, and multiple stories to walk up on. There was a check-in desk. just like you'd see in a hotel. We walked up to it, and we chacked in normally and got our room number. It was in a far away room from most of the hotel, so it took a a ong time to walk there. Luckily my bags weren't too heavy. Unfortunately, it was a different story for Gemma.
She had six bags, three on her arms and she was trying to drag the other three behind her. We were going to be here for two weeks, not two months! Nontheless, I grabbed one of her bags and helped her carry it and we were again off to the room.
Two mintues later, we showed up at a room with only five rooms in the corridor and we also had a door to close off our section, which was odd, but I didn't complain. We got into the room and our jaws dropped. It was amazing! Mom and dad rwally went far with this one...
There was a window, just like the one in the lobby. There were other windows all around, looking out to the ocean, which was stunning. There was also a balcony that looked off and down to the ocean, since we were on the side of the boat. It was amazing, and it was the perfect room for Gemma and I to stay in for two weeks on this cruise.
We both walked around and realized there was one room on the first floor and another floor that had two rooms too. We decided I'd have to one on the ground level and Gemma would get the upstairs one, and then we also decided we'd put all of our luggage and laptops and phones and everything else in the other room so we didn't clutter the downstairs that looked oh-so-nice.
I left my bags unpacked in the room and Gemma decided to unpack. I walked down the steps and looked around at the space. It was gorgeous. The couches were cream-colored and had wooden trim, which was very modern. There was also a flat screen and a huge kitchen further to the left, and I decided to walk into the kitchen to see what was there.
I opened the friedge and again realized that mom and dad indeed go very out of the way. There was a fully loaded food selection to choose from consisting of fruit and vegetables and even some microwavable food selections if we weren't in the mood for leaving the room. Our parents know us too well.
I sat down at a little tabgle in the kitchen and started muching on my carrot that I chose to eat. Just like Louis, I loved carrots. I love how I compare myself to Louis, even though Liam's my all time favorite. His eyes are amzing and has the voice of a deep-voiced angel. He's truly amaZayn, phenomiNiall, extrodinHarry, fabuLouis, and let's not forget brilLiam!
I finsihed muching on my carrot and just then I heard some rattling coming from the room over. I swear, there better not be a couple having sex because that happened the last time my family stayed at a hotel, and we kept trying to insist to Logan that they wree just creating an earthquake for their own room, and some of it was coming into ours by accident. The next morning when we left, the loevely couple that looked newlywed came out of our room, and Logan said them, "I forgive you for the earthquake last night."
I swear, Logan is quite the charmer.
So, I put my ear against the wall and listened closely. I could hear some muffled screams and shouts, and then laughing and then more screaming. It was fairly annoying, and I wanted it to stop.
I walked out of the room and closed the door and I walked over to the next door over. I knocked on it, and there was no response. I knocked on it again, and again there was no response. Then I knocked yet again and who opened the door made my jaw drop.
It was none other than Liam Payne.
