Chapter 1 - Short Cercuit

Fall, 2004
Like always, im in my room doing my homework. I only have Paul and Rylan to help me so im texting them asking how to do this.

"Abigail!" I hear my mom calling my name from downstairs, i think she just got home.
I walk downstairs to see her setting the table

"Im sorry i was late honey, my boss kept me at work for a bit to talk about my pay."
"What about the pay?" i question as my mom is quickly setting the table and then getting dinner started
"It got docked, only by ten dollars"
"Mom.. Where's dad?"
"Oh hes at a meeting.."
I look down concerningly and keep wondering if my parents are secretly
depressed

"Im sorry honey after i make dinner i need to file some papers in my office.."
"It's fine mom, im gonna go to Rylans anyway."
She finishes my dinner and starts dishing it up
"I dont like Rylan, he gets in to trouble and his parents let him do whatever"
"Mom, hes not a bad person, he just sometimes makes the wrong decisions. I've known him since grade 2."

I walk up to the counter to get my plate shes holding for me.
"As long as you bring your phone.."
She kisses me on the head as she hands me my dinner.
"Love you"
She walks to her office that's just around the corner and i sit down at the table.

I get a text

"Abby, Let's go to Freddy's!!"
What?? He knows i don't like that place.
"Rylan you know i don't like it, besides we have a big project coming up on Monday AND i need to study for a test."
"Pfft, who cares? We can do that later. We will only be at Freddy's for like 2 hours. I heard they made a Sister Location just outside of town!"
"It doesn't even matter about the work, you know how i feel about those sorts of places."
"Too late, Already told Paul and he's down"
"Rylan!! Whatever you guys can go."
"Nope, you're coming with us"
"Fine. But dont expect me to have any fun."
"Yeah Yeah at least you're going."

Alright i guess im going to freddy's so called Sister Location..
After i dinish my dinner I get my keys and wallet and head out to Rylans house.

I walk in the door and see Paul sitting on the couch with Rylan aparently having an argument.
"There she is now, Hey Abby is the Sun a planet?"
"What the.. Paul the sun is not a planet, it's a giant ball of gas"
"So is jupiter!"
"That's Different.."
I hang up my sweater and sit down with them as always.

"Hey, My parents aren't home"
"and..?" Paul asked suspiciously.
"They're out for 2 days and left me in charge, So i say; instead of going to the sister location, we go get some food from the gas station, wait until 2AM, and go to the sister location then!"
"Rylan! We could get arrested! What do you think my parents will say after they know i broke into Freddy's at night?"
"Oh come on Abby, you only live once and you need to be rebelious every once and a while!"
"Im down" Paul quietly said
"See? Now come on, if we go.. we all have to go together."
"I seriously hate you both for this.. Fine! But ill have to tell my parents im sleeping over.."
"Me too" Added Paul

12AM.. Almost time to leave. I doubt we will be stealing food anytime soon because of the donuts pop and chocolate we got from the gas station.
"Alright, Flashlight, water, phone, i think we're set" Paul was counting out the things he had in his mini backpack, being extra cautious.
"Come on Paul! It takes an hour to get outside of town and that's just on our bikes."
"Okay Okay hold on a minute.."

He grabs his bike lock keys and comes with me and Rylan outside

"I doubt we will even get in Rylan" Paul wonders
"Pfft, i know what to do. I've never been there so we either have to hop the fence or break the back door card slot-key card thingy"
"Key card thingy, great words there" I added on
"Oh shush im on 4 hours sleep"

2AM
After what seems like days of riding our bikes and almost getting hit once, we come across a modern looking Freddy Fazbears Pizza. On the front theres Ballora, Funtime freddy, Funtime foxy, And.. "Baby"?
The front doors are made of glass and theres a mini roof above it with 2 pillars holding it up. There are windows with what looks like a party room and multiple stage areas.
The location is in a mini mall on the outside beside a MCDonalds.

"Well, Here it is.." I say frightened
"Yup, cmon, theres a little alley we can get into."
We park our bikes beside the alley and quietly slip in between Freddy's and MCDonalds. I look back one last time to see if anyone is looking but all i see are traffic lights and cars. I slip in with Paul and Rylan and see theres an employee back door.
"See? Told ya."
"Now we need to know how to get this thing open.." Paul thought out loud.

I see a conviniently placed key Card beside the dumpster, i go to pick it up and as i lift it i see a rat eating what looks like road kill, i jump back and it scurrys away.
"Eww..." I look at the key-card out of curiosity and see the name is William Afton.
I put the keycard over the censor and the door opens.
"Ladies first" Paul and Rylan say
"Ugh" i quietly walk in, The guys following behind me. The moon reflecting into the windows is enough for me to see. We enter a room that supports the power, if we turn it on people will call the cops.
Paul finally takes out his flashlight and we see a power unit, lockers, a safe, and some crates. We step through the other door and enter an empty hall.

"I dont like this.. lets just come back in the morning.."
"Oh come on Abby, We're already here and im not riding my bike back for 2 hours because you're a scaredy cat" Rylan teased
"Ok ok..." I quiet him down
We walk down the hall and Paul shuts the door behind us. We hear something, Like Metal and gears scurrying through the hall.
"It's probably the air conditioner..." Paul said
"Air conditioners dont have arms and limbs Paul" Rylan added
We all stopped when we see the light coming from the other hall, we go towards it and enter a vent. We duck down and go through to see another room. Two windows on the sides and a button with a lightning bolt on it.
"What's this place?" i say
"It's probably a security office." Rylan says as he touches the paper plates that look like the animatronics.
We hear something that sounds like a masculine voice coming from the speaker
" Welcome to the first day of your exciting new career. Whether you were approached at a job fair, read our ad in Screws, Bolts, and Hairpins, or if this is the result of a dare, we welcome you. I will be your personal guide to help you get started. I'm a model 5 of the Handyman's Robotics and Unit-Repair System, but you can call me Hand-Unit."
We all jump back and look at eachother
"Guys, im pretty sure this robot thinks we're the new security guards" I say putting my hair back
"How can a robot think Abby?" Rylan says
" Your new career promises challenge, intrigue and endless janitorial opportunities. Please enter your name as seen above the keypad. This cannot be changed later so please be careful."
We look at eachother as a keypad comes up from the floor
"Type Rylanisthebest456"
"Fine." I type in his username but the keypad is so glitchy

"It seems that you had some trouble with the keypad. I see what you were trying to type, and I will auto-correct it for you. One moment. Welcome: Eggs Benedict" The keypad drops down under the floor and I turn around to see Rylan and Paul laughing hysterically
"Oh man, that really CRACKED ME UP!!" Rylan said between laughter
As they laugh even harder i realize theres a vent in front of us
"YEAH! Just needed to BREAK the silence there!!" Paul added on
"THERES NO REASON TO-"
"Guys!!" I inturrupt Rylan and point to the vent.
"You are now in the Primary Control Module. It's actually a crawlspace between the two front showrooms. Now, let's get started with your daily tasks. View the window to your left. This is the Ballora Gallery Party Room and Dance Studio, encouraging kids to get fit and enjoy pizza. Let's turn on the light and see if Ballora is on stage. Press the blue button on the elevated keypad to your left."
Without hesitation, Paul slaps that thing harder than he slapped a spider on my wall a few years ago, still laughing. The light shines on the Ballora stage but nothing is there besides decorations. We then jump to a horrifying voice from the speaker
"GreAt jOb!!!!"
We get inturrupted by what looks like ballora popping up on her stage. She looks at us but her eyes are closed.
"Lets go out there!!" Rylan shouted pointing at Ballora.
"Ugh.." Paul gets in the vent and goes to Balloras Hall while we follow him. We go up to Ballora who is now looking right at us. We see some wire sparks coming from her head.
She opens her eyes as she crawls closer, she lunges at me and Paul.
