|EIGHT|Vanica

             SHE FELT DRAIN   as she collapse on the small bed, using all her strength to fight Venroy and to wake up her mate Cion Grant who have collapsed before them after stupidly storming into her Shield, no one has survived inside her Shield she was surprised he did but what was weird off was his eyes turning strictly snow white. When he woke up and grabbed her into his body, everything inside her vibrated sending electrical surges and tingles all over body. It was like he was sinking himself into her blood, into her vain dissolving himself into her like the heat surging through her body.

She let out a deep breath as Brianne walked into the room with a huge tray of food.

"You must be starving," she said as she went down on her knees, placing the tray on the small carpet that was somewhat in the center of the room. Her stomach growl loudly at the smell of the delicious aroma of the food, she got up and join Brianne on the floor. There was a bowl of stew Chicken, Plain rice, Tossed Vegetable with Olives and small platter with two slices of Banana bread along with two jug one consist of tap cold water and the other had carrot Juice.

"The cook wanted to thank you for saving her husband, so she gave us buffet of food." she smiled, causing a dimple in her left cheek to become visible. She sat on her legs and watch as she dig into the bowl of chicken before starring up at her. How was she being nice to her when she haven't met her before? Isn't she scared of her? She wondered.

"I am just here to be your protector and friend." She uttered.

"I don't have friends." She blurted out.

"Yes you do, what about Daisy?" she uttered. Vanica look up at the girl before her. How did she know about Daisy? She haven't even met. Daisy was the only Assassin who help her at nights when her nightmares got out of control. Daisy was mysterious but she knew her limit and when to approach. She was the top huntress of the Academy that often went out on secret mission with no partners just herself. When she tried to question her about her mission, she doesn't seems to know much or even what they were about about but she admire how cool she was yet fierce whenever she train.

Daisy and her had connection it was untouchable she couldn't understand why but she knew they would become best of friends through out the time she was there. She was the one who taught her how to fight and how to be alert whenever she was alone in the woods fending off her own while the others just got disgusted of her. She didn't even get to say goodbye because she was on a long mission for a month but using her witches skills she manage to slip a note in her room right where only she alone could find it. She hoped she did.

"I have been guiding you through my sleep, so I know what you been through. It just wasn't safe for me to be on that journey with you. I was still growing and learning about my powers." she notify me.

"I may not be Daisy but I'm hell of a friend and a protector, I hope someday you'll appreciate me as you do Daisy." she uttered with a smile.

"I don't give trust easy." she stated.

"I know, it's something you and your brother seems to lack in." She picked up a slice of the Banana bread and bite it it. "Which is a good thing, You guys don't faze easy." she smiled at me.

"But your going to need trust if you want to be love." she said.

"Who said I want to be love?" she question.

"You ain't nobody till you got somebody to love." she uttered as she pour me some juice in a glass, before touching a silver bracelet on her hand. She didn't reply she just let the silence between be enough to answer the wonderment stirring in her mind. Just as she reach for a plate his chocolate mint scent flare into her nostril shivering every organ within her slender built a few second later he appear in the doorway in Jeans and a plain white T-shirt loosen on him. His now snow eyes flicker with questions and desire as he stare at her from where he stood, if he could close the distant between them he would be took a deep breath, rubbing his shaven chin and stare at her.

"Can I talk to you?" he asked.

"Alone." he suggested starring at Brianne apologetically. Brianne spurt up with her plate of food and step out of the room swiftly, he walked in shutting the door behind him swiftly. She got up from the floor running her hands down the skimpy hospital dress that she was still wearing. There was an electric tension within the atmosphere, as desire surge between them both as she flicker her gaze to his chest that was heaving up and down slowly.

It was undeniably but somehow they manage to stand there almost humanly admiring each other.

She tugged at her bottom lip as she cross her legs at the sensation that was brewing between her legs.

"I'm sorry," he cut the distant between them and pulled her towards him, she grasp out and he snake his hand around her waist and press her against if fully clothed body, before he pulled her into kiss and connected their lips together once his firm lips connected with hers. Her inch inside explode and great urge of wanting to strip him right there engulf her. She tip on her toes as she tried to keep up with his eager, yet soft kissing.

He must have realized that she was tipping on her toe, she felt herself being lifted up as her legs automatically wrapped around his waist. The contact was electric. his mouth was firm and commanding hers, his tongue exploring and the retreating in a soft soothing rhythm that robbed her of thoughts.Just as he manage to get them both on the floor still lip interlock the door was burst open to reveal a shocked Beta Robert.

"I am sorry," he blurted out, shutting back the door.

Vanica pulled away swiftly, Cion growled into her neck.

"What is it?" he asked obviously upset that he was disturbed.

"There's a human here asking for Vanica?" he said, She tense up beneath his hold.

"Said her name is Daisy and she is injured." Beta Robert announced, Vanica slip from between his hold and closed her eyes as she drift herself to Daisy bleeding in the lawn. Shocked she burst into flames.

"DAISY!" She screamed shaking the entire ground as fire engulf her well being and Daisy stare up at her with arrows and knives sticking out of her body. Within seconds Venroy was with her ripping every arrows from her body. Shaken Vanica screamed loudly causing a gush of fire to burst out into the open.

"Come Daisy! Don't die on me!" Venroy Screamed scattering every glass in present.

"Get everyone inside!" Alpha Cion Barked as he himself drift towards the twin and the human girl laying almost lifeless between them. He could hear her blood running through her body, she was alive he could feel her soul drifting, somehow she was breathing.... Her soul was smiling at him.
