Jack?

We were ice skating around and it was amazing but Jack needed help so Mother stood by him while I was left alone on the other side of the lake to help myself.I felt left out and lonely and jealous.This was my birthday and I was alone and bored.I decided that if my parents really loved me then they would notice if I left.I gradually got to the house and sat on the doorstep while my family enjoyed themselves without me.Mother and Father held Jack's hands and took no notice that I was gone.I loved  Jack but sometimes he took the spotlight for himself.
I sat outside for 10 minutes until I fell asleep in the cold.

30 minutes later...

"Aghhhhhh"
Jack was screaming and mum and dad were inside getting something to eat.
As I said I love Jack so I went there to save him.
I went there but he told me to leave him be.
He said
"My dear Estella,I love you!Leave me here it is fine.I don't want your help so leave me!"
I felt that I shouldn't leave him there so I ran to Mother and Father.
"Estella why did you wait what were you doing!"
Mother said frantically while Father frowned at me with rage.
I told them that Jack told me to leave him there but they said that he had been dead for more than an hour.
This is when I realised that I was imagining it.I don't know how but when I looked at his lifeless corpse...He spoke!
