"Waddup Bruh", said a familiar voice after dapping me.

"Aye Dreadz. How ya been?", I said looking up at the darkskin dread-headed guy that was like my big brother.

"I'm iight", he said opening the door to exit the place.

"Thanks for bailing me out", I replied finally.

"No problem. Had to repay you for what you did a few years back".

*Flashback*
"F*cking cockblocker!", I heard Dreadz yell.

Apparently our squad rival had set his house on fire.

Being only 14, I was scared as f*ck.

"Daddy! Daddy!", I heard Mariah scream and sob.

"Ayoo Dreadz! Dreadz!", I yelled .. no answer.

"C'mon Ry", I said calmly not to scare her.

She was only 4, so this was a lot for her.

She was hesitant at first, but reluctantly grabbed my arm. I put her on my back, and then rushed out if the burning, slowly collapsing home.

Outside stood reporters, camera men, firefighters, paramedics, and a shooken Dreadz.

When he saw his daughter, his eyes lit up, and he picked her up and spun her around.

"Ry," he started, "I am soo sorry Babygirl. I was so wrapped up in catching this guy..", he stopped and a tear slid out.

Dreadz was one hard ass nigga, who almost never showed emotion, but when it came to his daughter, it was a whole 'nother story.

"It's okay Daddy", Ry said cheerfully, and wiped the tear on his cheek.

"I love you Princess", he said and tickled her.

She giggled, but said "I love you too".

They embraced, and Dreadz mouthed to me "Thank you".

I mouthed back "No problem".

And ever since that day, our bond was unbreakable. I had his back, and he had mine.

*End of Flashback*

"So how'd ya find out I was here?", I finally spoke up.

"I keep watch on all my niggas", he said, "but you, since I owe you, I set ya ass free".

"Thanks Bruh.. it means a lot", I said.

"So what we gon' do bout this girl- Arianne is it?"

~Arianne's POV~
I heard the usual morning shuffle outside my door; looks like it was time to get up.

I climbed off my cot, and stretched.

I made my way to the calendar .. "March 5" was circled in red.

I bet you all no what that it..

My birthday? Nahh, but good try 😊

It was my "Out Dis Bitch" day.

I've had it planned ever since the day I got here.

I followed my normal routine of showering with the ladies. I ain't wanna leave smelling funky. When I left my room, I didn't close the door all the way to the point where it clicked. Instead of going to breakfast after washing up, I returned back to my room.

After taking off the uniform and only having a white T and shorts on, I grabbed my journal and flip flops and ducked out.

Security was in the cafeteria and on the higher floors so it was easy to leave out with a visiter, plus the fact that I was a smooth operator 😏.
