"gamsahamnida seoul!" i spoke into the microphone as i walked backstage, holding a bouquet of roses a fan had just handed me. this is what reminded me every day of why i was doing this in the first place.

"you were amazing sweetie," aeja gave me a bear hug as soon as she saw me.

"careful, the flowers," i pointed to them, chuckling as i let go of her. "but thank you, really," i put my hand on her shoulder, smiling as she handed me a towel to wipe the sweat off my face and neck.

"that's definitely the best way one could close the first leg of a tour," she spoke as we walked further backstage and into my trailer. it was finally time to take off all the makeup, and not to mention, the six-inch heels that had been killing me for the past two hours.

i sighed in relief as soon as my feet touched the ground, now stiletto-less. "i'm just glad i can finally rest, even if it's just for a day," i turned to aeja, giving her an understanding smile. "and you know you should take the day off as well."

"maybe i should," she seemed to think about it for a second, before shaking her head. "but no, there's a lot of planning for the second leg of the tour yet to do. it's only in two weeks, but every single minute is precious when it comes to booking hotels, security, transportation, etc. and you know me, i like being thorough."

"i do know you," i smiled, pushing my hair behind my ear. "which is why i know you'll do an amazing job."

she blushed slightly. aeja was fully aware of her management abilities, which were why i had chosen her in the first place, but she always enjoyed hearing it from me. maybe it was because it boosted her confidence, which i was okay with.

suddenly, she put her hand to her ear, seemingly speaking to someone through her earpiece. "yes? really? i'll let her know, yes. of course i won't make her do it if she doesn't want to, she just had a show, she deserves her rest. yes. alright. got it. i'll let you know," she tapped her earpiece once again.

"what was that?" i asked, removing my earrings in front of the mirror before looking over my shoulder to where aeja was standing.

"so, i know you've just removed your earrings and heels but you should put them back on," she approached me, grabbing my shoes on her way and handing them to me.

"why?" i pouted.

"because bts just happened to be watching your show and they want to say hi," my face lit up almost instantly.

"what? really? those dorks were here the whole time and didn't think of mentioning it to me?" i quickly put my shoes back on, grabbing a jacket to cover up my bare shoulders. i was still wearing my show's clothing, which consisted on a black mini-skirt and a black matching crop top with a sweetheart neckline, and so i would definitely catch a cold if i went outside in just that.

bts and i were signed to the same label, big hit entertainment. although we had different managers, thank god for them, we always seemed to bump into each other in both the recording studio and the dance studio. ever since the start of my career roughly three years ago, and even before when i was just a hopeful trainee. they had been supportive of my work and seeing them grow to be international superstars was something that i always thought i was lucky to have witnessed.

i quickly exited the trailer again, slipping and nearly falling off it when i tried to run down the small stairs leading to the ground. much to my surprise, they were all already waiting for me.

and yes, they had seen me tripping.

taehyung and hoseok were holding on to each other, barely able to contain their laughter. jin was glaring at the both of them, mouthing something along the lines of 'stop it'. yoongi looked more like he was about to fall asleep, and namjoon and jimin came to my rescue almost immediately.
