Taeyeon's POV
"Appa, I’m home!” Something crunched under mu foot. I looked down and saw broken glass. *What the…?* I followed the trail of broken glass into the living room, where my appa, bruised and bloodied, was kneeling on the floor in front of two burly, black-suited men. “Appa!” I ran forward to be blocked by the men. “Taeyeon!” Appa cried out. “Who are you? Get out before I call the police!” I screamed. The men smirked and pushed me to the floor. “No please! Don’t hurt my daughter!” appa pleaded. A man stooped down and sneered, “I dare you to call your cops. Your father will be taken to prison the minute you do.” “What do you mean?” I glared at him. “Your appa is in mighty big debt. My boss isn’t too happy with that.” The man smirked. I'm slowly stood up, “Wait… why…” “Your dad has gambled all his money away and came to us for money. We granted him money and he still hasn’t paid back.” The man snarled. “Appa… is that true? Did you borrow money for… gambling?” I asked in disbelief. “I’m sorry.” appa lowered his head in shame. “And since he can’t pay the money back, we’re here to take him to get his organs out. Kidney, liver, maybe an eye or an ear.” The men forcefully grabbed appa. “NO!” I screamed and pushed them away. “I’ll… I’ll pay it back. I’ll work.” I stuttered. “You’ll work 100 thousand dollars? Do you even think that’s possible?” The man barked. *100 thousand?* My mind became blank. “Enough talking. Boss wants his money.” The men grabbed appa again. “No!” I stopped them. “There must be another way! Not my appa. Please.” The man carefully looked at me. He scanned me up and down. “Well… there is a way.” He grinned evilly. “You have to sell your body.” “What?” My heart stopped. “We’ll sell you at a club for money. And you’ll work off the debt there.” The man explained. I didn’t respond. “No. Don’t do it, Taeyeon. I’ll be fine.” Appa exclaimed. I gazed at appa. “Hurry up. We’re running out of time.” The man said impatiently. I blurted, “Fine. But you have to leave my appa alone.” “Deal.” Take her to the car.” The man dragged me to the car. I blankly followed. “No! Taeyeon!” Appa tried to follow me but the other man kicked his chest. The men pushed me into the car and got in. “Taeyeon! Don’t go! Taeyeon!” Appa banged on the window. I looked at him and tears sprang out. “Appa…” The engine started. “No! Taeyeon!” Appa fervently tried to open the door. I put your hand on the window, “Appa… don’t worry about me.” I said. “Taeyeon!” Appa cried out in pain. The car started to move. “Appa!” I screamed. I saw appa chased after the car but soon, he fell behind.
No one's POV
Baekhyun was the cold, dominant leader of a gang called Black Dragons. He even owned an enormous club called Black Dragon. “Boss!” Baekhyun scanned his club, “Is everything all right?” “Yes. So far, there hasn’t been any commotion and business is going well.” Baekhyun nodded.
Taeyeon's POV
I'm in a bright, classy club. I'm uneasily looked at the strippers. “Hello, Mr. Cha.” The men lowered their heads to a sleazy looking man. Mr. Cha looked up, “What do you want?” “We have a new girl for you.” They grinned. “She better be prettier than last time.” Mr. Cha growled. “Of course. We brought you the best this time.” The men grinned. They moved aside to reveal me. Mr. Cha’s eyes widened. I nervously looked at him. “Greet your new master.” The man ordered. I reluctantly lowered my head, “H-hello.” “So what do you think Mr. Cha? Will you buy her?” The man eagerly questioned. Mr. Cha looked me up and down like i'm live bait. I coiled back. “Of course I will! How much!” Mr. Cha slapped the table. “100 grand.” The man claimed. “Sold.” Mr. Cha started to laugh uproariously. He brought out a case of money and he counted the money in the man’s hands. Suddenly my thoughts spun wildly *I don’t want to work for this pervert. No. I have to get out.* “Wait!” I blurted. “I-I don’t want to do this anymore.” “What?” the man gritted his teeth. “I-I know I agreed to do anything and work at a club… but I can’t. I’ll still pay off my father’s debt. I-I’ll work all day. So please.” I implored. * “Too late.” The man sneered as Mr. Cha handed him the last dollar. “Come to daddy!” Mr. Cha leered and held his arms out. I'm backed away and started to run but the men grabbed me. They brought me to Mr. Cha. He clutched my wrist, “Where are you going pretty girl? Your mine now!” He cackled. I tried to free from his hard grip and started crying and pleading. “Shut your mouth! You’re embarrassing me!” Mr. Cha slapped my cheek. I couldn’t help but cry even more. “I said shut up!” Mr. Cha was about to slap me but someone stopped him. Everyone froze. I looked up to see a very good-looking guy with black hair and puppy eyes. “You’re causing a fuss in my club.” Baekhyun hissed. He bent Mr. Cha's wrist. Mr. Cha cried out in pain.
“Let go of the girl’s wrist. Now.” Baekhyun demanded. Mr. Cha instantly let go of me. “Get up.” Baekhyun muttered. I quickly scrambled up. “Get her some ice.” Baekhyun said to his men. They nodded and started to lead me away but Mr. Cha stopped me. “Hey! You can’t just take her away from me like that! I bought her! She’s mine.” Baekhyun gave Mr. Cha a fierce look. He snapped his fingers. A man of his brought a suitcase. Baekhyun grabbed the suitcase and tossed it at Mr. Choi, who gave him a puzzled, outraged look.
“That’s 200 thousand dollars. Take it and buy yourself a real prostitute.” Baekhyun coolly said. “Take her to the kitchen.” Baekhyun glanced at his men. They nodded and took me away. I was dazed and ultimately grateful for what the good-looking guy did. His men took me to the kitchen and handed me an ice pack.
“Thank you.” I whispered. The men nodded and went away. I sat on a chair and put the ice on my burning cheek. *Who is that guy that saved me? Is he a good guy… or a bad guy?* Just then, the doors burst open. Baekhyun came striding in. He glanced at me then nodded at his men, “Take her to my house.” “Yes, sir.” They lowered their heads. Baekhyun turned to leave. “Wait!” I said. Baekhyun paused. “What will happen to me?” I asked. “I’ll explain everything to you later. Go to my house first.” Baekhyun said. I slowly nodded. Then Baekhyun left.
I was arrived at a huge black mansion. It was dark but extremely cool. “Wow…” I whispered. Inside it was neat and luxurious. “Boss will come home soon. Wait here.” The men left. Sighing, I sat on the large black sofa. I looked at the clock. It was 10. Three hours later, I heard the sound of screeching wheels. The door opened and Baekhyun came in.
Third person's POV
He shut the door with a bang. Baekhyun took off his blazer and threw it on the sofa. He was loosening his tie when he noticed a presence. He looked to his right and saw Taeyeon. *Shit. I forgot about her.* Baekhyun thought. He sighed and sat in front of Taeyeon. Exasperatedly, he smoothed his face with his hands. “Okay. Here’s the deal. You’re going to be my maid until you pay me back 200 thousand dollars. You’ll clean, cook, and anything else I want you too. I’ll have a contract for you to sign tomorrow. Understood?” Taeyeon nodded.
“Good. Now follow me.” Baekhyun ordered. She quickly followed him into the hallways. He led her to an empty room. He opened it and turned the lights on. The room was large and clean with a private bathroom. “You’ll be staying here."
Baekhyun said. She carefully stepped in. Baekhyun watched her curiously gaze around the room. He shook his head, “I’m going.” “Wait!” Taeyeon said. Baekhyun stopped and looked at her. “Um… I never got to properly thank you for saving me… Thank you.” she said.
“No need. I bought you. You’re still a slave. But instead of being a property of that greasy man…your mine.” Baekhyun coolly replied. She bit her lip. Baekhyun turned to leave but stopped, “Oh wait. I forgot to mention.” He gave her a deadly glare, “If you ever run away, I will find you. Don’t even try to escape. I always find those who do wrong to me.” With a cocky, threatening smirk, Baekhyun left. “I wasn’t going to leave anyways.” she sighed.
