chapter 1 .

** Victoria's POV **

"Get your fucking hands off of me ! " I screamed as john repeatedly beat me until I was completely out of breath .

John yelled through clenched teeth

" I am your farther and I have every right to touch you Victoria ! "

" You , are not and will never be my father . I've told you that ever since you signed those damn adoption papers ! "

John yanked me by by hair and slammed me against the wall in my room and locked me in for the rest of the day .

I decided to think since it was the only time I could because John wasn't handling me .

I needed to leave , but how ?

hours and hours on end I was locked in that room with no food and all I could do was think , since I had no tv , no books , basically no connection with the outer world other than John and Carrol and their annoying kid Lucy that always mocked me .

I was ready to be gone , suicide obviously wasn't the way since I wanted to live . not just live to be alive , I wanted to live , a good life .
