(Artemis POV)

I was currently looking for a monster camp with my hunters. Ever since a few years back, the monsters have started to become smarter, doing group attacks and targeting weak demigods. We still need to discuss more about this matter in the council, but with my fathers paranoia it's really difficult to say anything without being blasted with his bolt.

The monster camp was off in the distance, but there was something weird about it. The last two monster camps we have attacked were heavily guarded and packed. This one had dead guards outside and, from what I could see, there was fighting inside. I just thought that it was a monster fight, like the one my hunters had when they insulted each other. But something told me (the dead guards in the outside) that it was something else. I motioned my hunters to go faster, so we could see what was happening in there. When we entered the camp, it was completely deserted, with monster dust all around. In the corner of my eyes, I saw a male trying to pass by unnoticed.

"Stop boy, turn around and state your name" I said in a commanding voice while pointing my bow at him. He stiffened and began to turn around slowly. Once he turned, he kept his head low, as in mockery to me. "Look up and state you name an purpose, unless you want an arrow in a bad place" I told him with less tolerance this time. He cringed when I said I would stick an arrow in a bad place. He seems to know from experience. He also looks very familiar, like someone who was lost long ago. But it can't be, as much as I want it.

The boy started to look up, and with every centimeter his head moved my heart clenched. He really looked familiar. Finally when he looked up at me, I couldn't believe it was him. His black messy hair, his sea green eyes, his perfect built, it really was him. But it was impossible.

"My name is-" "Perseus" I interrupted, barely controlling myself from falling. He looked at me and instantly his tears started to fall. For about ten seconds we just stared at each therewith tears falling down. My hunters were really confused, I mean who wouldn't. Nobody knew about him except a few gods, the story is even older than Dionysius. Before anybody could say anything, I just ran toward him and gave him the tightest hug I've ever given or received. I couldn't be apart from him any longer. I just stood there holding on to him, with his arms around my body, sobbing like a little baby. I never knew I missed him so much till now, millennia had passed and everybody thought he had faded. Right now, I couldn't care less what my hunters think, I just want to be with him. I flashed us to my palace in Olympus. Nobody had come here except Apollo and Perseus. Not even my hunters could come here. It was my sanctuary, where I cried because of him. But right now, my prayers had been answered, Perseus was here. I don't know how long I stood hugging him, sobbing, till he started to speak.

"Artemis, don't worry. I'm here for good. I've missed you a lot." Perseus told me. I started to control myself a little bit better. I kissed him, just to see if it was really him. Millions of memories came back as soon as our lips touched each other. Almost forgotten memories, like our fourth date or the day after our marriage. I was so happy that I didn't notice Apollo coming in to the palace. We broke apart when we heard my brothers gasp. My brother was beyond angry, and I didn't know why.

"You mortal dare defile my sister?! You'll pay?" Apollo screamed

"No! Look who he is Apollo!" I yelled, but he didn't listen. He notched an arrow and fired at Percy, but not before I could come between him, effectively covering my love. The golden arrow hit me in the arm, and it hurt. Apollo when he saw that the arrow hit me, came running my way. I was fine, but the pain was intolerable. If it was a normal arrow, then I would've been fine, but Apollo's arrows are enchanted for ultimate pain for immortals, and painful death for mortals.

"Apollo what the Hades?! Why did you do this?" I yelled at him. He got closer to me, but not before Percy stood up.  "Apollo, why did you do this?" asked Percy "You mortal! Who a-" Apollo started saying till realization got him. He fell backwards "P-pe-percy! We thought you faded! Artemis went into a deep depression after your death. She even had an oath to remain loyal to you forever!" Apollo said. "I know, it's time for the council to know about everything" Percy said.

"No you can't do that!" Apollo and I both screamed. "You just got back, I can't lose you again! Only me, my brother, Hestia, Athena and Hera know about your existence. You can't go to the council now!"

"I must, my father told me to go as soon as I was reunited" Percy said

"Father?" Apollo and I both asked simultaneously

"I'll explain everything in the council" Percy said. Who could be his father? My curiosity got the better of me and I just complied. The three of us flashed to the council room, where there was nobody. Apollo and I got our bows and announced an emergency council meeting. We then sat on our thrones, with Percy in the middle of the room looking a little uncomfortable. After five minutes, every one of the council members arrived and were looking at Perseus in confusion.

"Daughter, why have you called this meeting. Also, who is this male?" Zeus/Dad asked me. He was always patient with me, but I could hear the insecurity in his voice

"Lord Zeus, I think it's better if I introduce myself. My name is Kosmos Perseus, son of Poseidon and Athena, adopted son of Chaos, primordial god of tides, swordsmanship, loyalty, matter, sacrifice, perseverance, revenge, order, chaos, intelligence and finally the husband of Artemis"
