" Dad."
" Yes Mikah, what is it?"
" I have something very important to tell you and I need you to be open-minded about it."
" Alright," he said, not bothering to look up from what he was doing.

" No. Not until you talk to me."
" Oh, Mikah," I started to cry.
" And I'm sorry if you don't want me," I say, sobbing.

" Mikie?" I heard my brother say. He's so young, I can't imagine he'd understand.
" Paul. Buddy, there's something you don't know about me. Something very important."
" Are you sad?"
" No. Paul, I love girls, the way that I'm supposed to feel about boys. It's not something I can control and it is most certainly, nothing to be ashamed of. Do you understand? I know it may seem weird to you, or different."
" Of course you're weird, Mikah, you're my sister. But you're no different."
The End :)
