Dying Out

"You think it's Hydra?" I asked.

"Of course it's Hydra, who else would it be?" Rogers commented.

"We've had shield agents scanning that area and they have a massive number of weapons and soldiers." Fury said while crossing his arms.

"What are they doing in New York?" Banner asked confused.

"We're not sure yet, but in the meantime watch your backs." We all nodded in agreement before walking out.

"Stark." I turned around and Fury gave me a pat on the shoulder.

"Take care of her." He warned me and I nodded at him before calling Valentina, who was out with Natasha.

Natasha rushed me out of the mall, and away from the gunshots as I ran as fast as my legs could carry me.

A little boy was crying and all alone in the middle of the parking lot, and Nat just rushed to help him, but not before we both heard gunshots headed our way too.

"RUN!" She screamed, and she didn't have to tell me twice.

I spun around to see 10 men dressed in black charging towards me.

I took out my phone quickly and saw Tony's name on the caller Id.

"TONY!" I screamed in the phone before the gun collided with my face knocking me out instantly.

"Valentina!" I felt my heart rate increase as I screamed her name.

I panted heavily and called my suit in a flash.

"Sir you have a phone call from Agent Romanoff."

"Put her on Friday." I commanded my AI.

"TONY!" I heard her shout and that made me worry even more.

"Where is she?!" I shouted and I heard her take a shaky breath.

"She's gone." She spoke between pants and I hung up almost immediately as I blasted off the roof.

"Friday scan the area."

"Yes boss." I stepped out of the suit and checked every single store. She was gone.

"Rogers." I called through the coms.

"Assemble the team." I demanded before stepping inside my suit and blasting back to the tower.

My eyes fluttered open, but I immediately closed them back once the harsh light hit my face.

"She's awake."

I heard some mumbling from the side of the room, but I not before studying my surroundings.
