Emily's POV

Everything around me seems to be going in slow motion as I follow the doctors to Alison's room. The only sound I can hear is the pounding of my heart beating as we near her room. The sound of the doctor's yelling seem to fade away. They all slowly run into her room, surrounding her. Then everything is back in motion.

They put the face mask over her nose trying to get her to breathe but her heart rate is steadily dropping. All I can hear is the beeping sound of her heart monitor dropping.

"Come on Alison!" I cry, watching as they try and get enough oxygen into her but nothing seems to be working. "You can't leave me!" Tears stream down my face as I watch the girl I love slowly start slipping away from life. From me. From us. The sound of the beeping continues, indicating her heart stopped. I rush to her and hug her. "Please, Alison. Wake up." Tears glide down my face as I cling to her. I look at her, and grab her hand. The doctors just look at me with sadness in their eyes. "Ali, I need you. I can't live without you." I whisper to her so the others can't hear me. "I need you." After a few seconds, the sound of her heart monitor starts beeping again. I let out a sigh of relief and kiss her forehead.

Alison's POV

I watch Emily as she paces back in forth in the waiting room. She's waiting on the girls to get here. Luckily, Emily told Samara to leave which made me happy. That bitch needs to stay away from my girl anyways.

"Emily, I am so sorry." Aria rushes to her first, and flings her arms around Em. Emily hugs her back and soon the other girls join in on the hug. "What's going on with her?"

"She lost the baby." Emily says with sadness in her voice. I don't blame her. I'm still upset that I lost the baby. Aria and Spencer looks shocked. I'm guessing they didn't know that I was pregnant. "She's in a coma right now and they don't if and when she will wake up." Her eyes start to water again.

"I'm sorry, Em." Hanna says, and grabs Emily's hand to comfort her. She smiles at Hanna in thanks.

"Can you guys stay here and keep an eye on her? I really need to go change and take a quick shower." The girls nod their head before Emily walks away. Of course, I follow her. As Emily is walking across the parking lot, a car comes flying around the corner. She doesn't see them.

"Emily, watch out!" I yell, knowing she can't hear me. In that exact moment, she raises her head and her eyes go wide. She quickly dodges out of the way, landing on the pavement. I hear her gasp in pain, and I run over to her. "Emily, you need to be more careful." I whisper, but a part of me can't help but feel like that car intentionally tried to hit her.

"I need to be more careful." Emily mumbles, before getting up and making her way to the car. Did Emily hear me when I shouted at her to watch out? There's no way she looked up at the car just because she had an instinct to. She was completely oblivious to what she was doing. Did I just save her life? She gets inside her car and I do the same. I slip right through the door which is weird.

Cool but weird.

Once we get to the house, we both get out of the car and walk inside. She looks around the living room before her eyes land on my sweater that's laying on the arm of the couch. Emily walks over to it and picks it up with tears in her eyes. "Please stay strong, Ali." She then takes it into the bathroom with her. I hear the shower turn on so I stay out, respecting her privacy.

As I'm waiting for her, I decide to look out the window to make sure no one is coming. I don't know why but I feel like someone is watching this house right now. Like they're waiting for the right time to attack Emily. I don't like this feeling. My eyes land on the same car that almost hit Emily in the parking lot at the hospital across the street. So it was intentional. I try to see who it is but I can't see that far. What do they want? Why are they trying to kill her?
