I snook down the hallway as quietly as I could. I didn't want to wake Maggie. She fell asleep on my bed last night after we kissed for the second time. I had woken up in the middle of the night for some reason and realised we had no blankets so I grabbed a quilt and pulled it over us. Then I woke up this morning spooning her. It was nice.

That's when I got up very silently and decided to go to the store for breakfast things.

I grabbed my keys and closed the door very slowly behind me, hoping not to wake her up.

The sun shone in through the curtains causing me to wake up. That was my favourite way to be woken.

I stretched my arms and legs and smiled, nuzzling into the pillow under my head.

Oh where was I? I thought to myself, my eyes shooting open.

I turned over slightly to see who I was sleeping next to. It's not like I drank too much last night, just that it was too early for my brain to properly function.

The sallow skin and floppy dark hair immediately became recognisable to me.

Memories from last night with Johnny came flooding back to my head and I couldn't help but smile.

I realised then that I was staring at him.

I didn't stop.

"Stop staring at me" Johnny said, eyes still closed.

The sudden words caused me to jump.

"Sorry, I can't help it" I found myself blurting.

I could feel my cheeks burning.

I turned over and stared at the alarm clock on the bedside table.

Johnny started to move and he sat up slightly.

He leaned over me and kissed my shoulder.

"Good morning" he cooed in my ear.

I felt goosebumps go up my back.

"Hi" I responded, smirking.

"Would you like some breakfast?" he asked, getting up from bed now.

"Where?" I asked, turning over, curious.

He smiled in my direction while buttoning up his shirt.

"Diner down the street" he suggested.

"Okay" I said, smiling and getting up from bed.

I walked over the other side of the bed to where he was and planted a huge kiss on his soft lips and quickly grazed his neck, causing him to shiver.

"Be ready in 10" I said, confidently walking to the bathroom, leaving him in a trance.

I could almost feel him blushing.

I woke up feeling very uncomfortable. I knew it wasn't my bed and presumed that that was the reason. Although, I thought it was a good nights rest. I stared around Adam's room, analysing the persona you could take from his belongings.

I knew he liked classic rock music but I didn't realise he was a huge fan as I stared at the tall CD stack reading Led Zeppelin, Queen and AC/DC. There was more but I couldn't recognise them.

I got up from the bed, removing the large blanket that was over me. I didn't remember putting that there, I thought.

I walked over to Adams closet. I felt curious as to how he had laid it out. I opened the wooden doors and peered inside. He had chinos and sweatpants all folded on the top. Below were all his shirts hanging up and below those were about five pairs of high tops and one pair of what looked like formal shoes.

Why was I being so nosy?

I closed the closet door and began wondering where Adam had disappeared off to.

Then I heard the front door close and made my way to the kitchen.

I trudged down the hallway, suddenly craving coffee.

In the kitchen was Adam, setting up some plates of food and switching on the kettle.

"What are you..?" I asked, confused.

He turned around and smiled.

"Morning! You're just in time for breakfast" he said, smiling right at me.

I couldn't help but smile back.

He then stepped over to me, planting a small kiss on my cheek and then returned to preparing breakfast.

We walked down the busy street which was just below my hotel. I glanced over at Carrie. She had decided to wear one of my shirts over her red dress from last night.

I thought it was cute.

She must of noticed me staring at her and smiled back, not caring about how everyone was giving her weird looks.

I always loved that about her.

We reached the diner and I immediately found us a booth right by the window.

"Are you hungry?" I asked her, reading the menu.

"Starving" she answered back, smiling at me.

"Stop smiling at me" I said, secretly liking it.

"I only smile at what is beautiful" she teased, a smirk on her face.

I let out a chuckle and blushed.

"That's my line" I said, trying not to blush again.

She just smiled at me and began reading the menu.

A waitress made her way over to us.

"Can I take your order?" she asked.

She had a southern accent but I'm pretty sure she was Asian.

"Uh yes I'll just have a full breakfast with pancakes on the side and a coffee, please" I asked, feeling very hungry.

She quickly wrote it down and turned to Carrie.

Carrie looked at me like she never ordered breakfast before in her life.

"Uhhh I'll have the same with extra bacon and a chocolate milkshake please" she asked, smiling like a little child.

The waitress and I both raised our eyebrows at her.

"A chocolate milkshake?" I asked, laughing.

"Yes!" she said, like it was the norm breakfast drink.

The waitress smirked and wrote it down, walking away.

"Johnny?" she said, causing me to turn towards her.

"I had a great time last night" she sincerely said, holding my hands across the table.

"So did I" I said back, smiling and kissing her knuckles.
