Meeting Mr Mendes

The bell to go to 3rd period rang, I rushed out of reading to meet up with Dani because today's special was gym which was really close to my reading class and close to Dani's. As I walked down the hall I see Dani, "omg heyyy" I say to Dani as she was fixing her hair (nothing new). "Hey, I saw code 8 code 2" Dani says jumping frantically. I just give a small smile "Dani I got to go". She hugs me and walks away. I walk to my 3rd class which is history and my breathing gets heavy when I see Justin walk past me. Only if people knew what we did. As I walk into history I'm relieved to see Rose but then remember how fake she's been. I take my seat next to her and I don't see my usual teacher, instead I see a very attractive man,with brown hair and he's about 22.. I'm tempted to ask Rose who he is but I don't because she'll just say loudly "Dang I Don't Know",she's been off lately. After a few minutes everyone is in their seats. People start chatting and I sit there all lonely,it's because all my friends are in different classes. I pull out my phone to text Dani,then remember she's in gym. As I start to put it away the attractive man with brown hair taps me, i turn around with my phone in my hand and make a confused face. "Phones aren't allowed" the man says, I slightly bite my lip because I'm embarrassed . I hand him the phone and our fingers brush against each other, once again my breathing stops. I look around everyone is still talking. "Hey" I slightly say to Rose, she looks like she's about to say something but that damn phone taker cuts everyone off. "Hey everyone" his voice gives me chills and we make eye contact for like 2 seconds but I look down,still embarrassed. "I'm your new teacher Mr.Mendes" , he says smiling as he notices all the happy students. This one girl Christina Reck (she's like super slutty, popular and pretty) raises her hand. Mr.Mendes shakes his head forward basically telling her speak, "Hi I'm Christina Reck", Mr.Mendes gives a fake smile which is very noticeable. " I have two questions" Christina says twirling her pencil in her mouth. Mr.Mendes just gives another fake smile and says "go ahead". "first name and age" Christina says normally without any extra actions. "My first name is Shawn and I'm 20" he says as he fixes his tie. I whisper "damn" under my breath because he's so hawt he doesn't even have to try. Shawn turns around and looks at me, shit I think he heard me. "We are gonna have free time today since there's only 15 minutes but would someone help me with attendance?" Shawn says keeping his eyes on me the whole time. Peyton Thomas , my ex bff raises her hand. I roll my eyes. Peyton left me to be besties with Christina and Hailey now their the three slutty musketeers. "Come On Up" Shawn says in a friendly tone. Peyton goes up and says names aloud. "Mr.M I'm done" Peyton says in a flirty tone. "Great Um-" Shawn starts but is cut off when Peyton says "Peyton Thomas is the name,remember it" she said that in the most flirty tone ever. Shawn starts to write on the board: American History. I smile because I learned a lot about American History in my 8th grade year. Shawn turns around and sees my smile. "Someone's happy" he says looking at ME. I'm not good at flirting especially with teachers so I just shrug. "What's your name?" He says still smiling. "Oh um- Spencer Sims" I say blushing like a fool. "Well Ms.Sims,why are you smiley?" Shawn asks as a small smirk appears on his face. I look down and mumble "no reason, I just know a lot". Shawn gives me a small laugh and says "sure,Sims". I bite my lip but after a second I realize he's my teachers. Shawn's looks at me for a few seconds then turn to the class. "Okay so our first unit together is American History,enjoy the rest of your free time". I pull out a book because I don't wanna deal with Rose. I try to finish the last chapter of "Harry Potter: Sorcerer's Stone" but Shawn sits at his desk and the way he looks is just "Damn who birthed you" he makes a confused face at something he's reading and I giggle a little. Shawn looks up at me and smiles. The bell rings a few minutes later knocking me out of my thoughts. I look around and everyone is leaving so I pack up my stuff and go to Shawn's desk to get my phone. "Ms.Sims" Shawn says smiling. "I w-wanted my phone" I stutter. "Spencer come at the end of he day, we need to talk anyway." Shawn says. I roll my eyes and walk out.

I go into the lunch room and see Dani. "Hey" I say happily as Dani screams and I mean screams "MR.MENDES IS HOT", some people look at us. My eyes go wide. "Dani keep your voice done". I say laughing. " Oh my bad" she says whispering to be smart. I just laugh. "Attention Students" Mr.Mendes says and everyone gives him their attention because I mean damn he's fine. "As you all know Mr.Limistin left LA Private High,but luckily I'll be taking over the boys soccer team" All the jocks just look Shawn up and down and he makes eye contact with me once again. I smile. (Mr.Limistin is the old history teacher and soccer coach for boys.) Shawn clears his throat,"Try outs are next month so be ready". Shawn walks out the cafeteria. Dani looks at me and smiles. "Imagine Mr.Mendes in Shorts, bet $50 he has a nice ass." Dani says. I giggle. The bell rings and I say bye to Dani and head to Science. As I walk to Science I notice it's raining really bad, I just keep walking to Science and when I get there I do my usual sit, get ready for Mr. Wolfe's 100 notes

I get to gym and Mr.Linden tells us we are starting our basketball unit. I really suck at basketball. After we get done cleaning up the balls I go over to Mr.Linden, "Hey can I go to Mr.Sh-Mendes to get my phone?" I ask. "Sure, we have like ten minutes so be quick" I nod my head run out the gym. I bump into Justin. "Sorry Spence" he says as he looks into my soul. I just continue running to Shawn's class. I get there and I'm out of breath," Woah there Spencer what's the rush?" Shawn says as I literally fly into his class. "N-nothing I just have a lot of energy" I say smiling and Shawn laughs, it's so cute. No one else is in the class so this must be his free period. "Oh here's your phones" Shawn says as he hands me my phone. "Thanks Shawn." My eyes go wide as I notice I just called him Shawn. "Sorry Mr.Mendes" I say blushing. "It's cool,Spencer." He says. "You can call me Shawn when we're alone" he says. I smile. "So Mr.Limistin-" Shawn starts but the loud speaker cuts him off. "Attention A Lockdown Is Now Issued, please secure all students and staff". Shawn jumps out of his chair and all of a sudden I get a panic attack .
