War and Survival (An Amourshipping Story)

Three days after Ash's speech was published to the world and the Kalos gang were already getting over a hundred recruits. The sky was cloudy today making it hard for the gang to see more recruits coming.

Professor Oak arrived with all of Ash's pokemon in a bag next to him as he flew down on Ash's lost Pidgeotto. Ash ran to them and hugged Pidgeotto's head.

"Did you find her Professor?" Ash asked

"I'm afraid not my boy, I flew over your house and it was destroyed into pieces" Professor Oak said and walked inside

Ash signed sadly and hugged Pidgetto for comfort. The others watched from behind as Professor Oak walked up to them.

"How long has he been like this" Profeesor Oak asked

"Two days ago. No matter how many times we try to cheer him up nothing works" Serena replied, not taking her eyes off Ash

"I hope his mommy is ok" Bonnie said

"Yeah, we all do Bonnie" Clemont said

"Pika pi" Pikachu said from in Serena's arms sadly

Some other recruits came flying in from Kanto. Ash asked them if they had seen his mother but no hope was in asking since everyone had said no. Finally, Brock and Misty arrived. Ash ran to them and embraced them in a hug.

"I'm so glad you both are alright" Ash said

"Yeah, we are too" Misty said

Ash pulled back from the hug and a serious expression came up.

"Did you find her?" Ash asked

"Well we did but... she's gone" Brock said

"What...what do you mean? What happened?" Ash asked

"We went to go look for survivers and we found your mom laying in the middle of the road in a big puddle of blood. When we got there, she was already dead. We're sorry Ash" Brock said

Ash looked at both of them and they had sympathy eyes meaning that it was true.

Delia Ketchum was dead.

Ash's cap fell off as the rain poured. Misty and Brock ran inside to get try. Clemont, Bonnie and Pikachu did too but Serena stayed outside and watched Ash.

Ash fell to his knees and tears poured down like the rain. His eyes were wide and he crunched his teeth. Serena had had enough and ran to his side.

"Ash, what's wrong?" she asked softly

Ash looked up at her and barried his face on her shoulder, his arms wrapped around her wasit as he cried, hard.

Serena was shocked that Ash was crying on her but didn't speak as she hugged him back.

"I know Ash, just let it all out ok. I know how it feels to lose the one you love the most. I lost my dad and he was my everything. But you have to be strong ok, you just have to..."Serena said shakenly

Ash stopped crying and looked into Serena's eyes making her blush.

"Your right Serena. Here I am, the leader of this rebellion crying on the shoulder of his crush because of something I need to be strong about" Ash chuckled and wiped his tears away

"Its ok Ash, I already know your strong and you have proven that hundreds of times. I know you can be strong" Serena smiled

"Thanks Serena"

"No problem, and did you say crush?"

Ash blushed and looked away "Yeah, don't get mad or anything but-" Ash was cut off when Serena kissed him

Ash looked at Serena, who had her eyes closed, and closed his eyes and enjoyed the kiss before Serena pulled back.

"I love you too" Serena said

Ash smiled and kissed Serena's cheek before getting up. He reached out a hand for Serena which she accept and pulled her up. They both walked inside hand in hand, not even bothering to pick up Ash's hat as it flew in the wind.

Somewhere else
In the black building, a man was at his desk looking a pictures while smiling evily. His door opened and a women with a gray suit jacket and a black skirt came in.

"Sir, we are informed that the leader or the Pallet fights mother is dead" the women said

"Good, now he'll be to weak yo go aganist us" the man said

"But sir, what about the other Ketchum" the women asked

"Who? The little girl, you can throw her out. She's way too weak for anything" the man said

"As you wish sir" the women said

"Please Melissa, call me Mr. Mal" the man said as the door closed
