Hi! Sorry about the delay. At least I know where I'm going with the story now. Those of you wanting more Max and Rhia or Joey and Kristy.....I promise you won't have to wait much longer. I just had to fill in some gaps first. Hope you enjoy it! Thanks for reading!

I proofread quickly, so if you see errors, please let me know.  Thanks!

Us girls were going to the spa for the day. I thought that Maya had picked a great location for her bachelorette activities, but I was afraid that Ethan wouldn't agree. I really hoped he stayed quiet during most of it.

"Are you sure you're okay to take him?" Max asked me for the billionth time.

"Yes, I'd much rather have him at the spa with me than at a sports bar with you," I replied.

"I could always stay home with him," he suggested.

"Nah. You go have fun. He'll be fine with me," I added.

"Maybe my parents can watch him," he exclaimed.

"Your parents are having too much fun. Besides, they have to watch him all day tomorrow and Saturday. I don't want to make their vacation any harder than it has to be," I explained.

Max kissed me on the lips, then walked over to Ethan's play pen and picked him up. Ethan cooed when he saw his dad. I was happy that Max was so good with him.

"Daddy's leaving now, but he'll be back later to say goodnight to his wittle boy," Max told Ethan in a baby voice.

Ethan smiled and gurgled happily. I smiled, too. I really could have jumped his bones right there. It was funny, what made me want him so badly these days. It used to be when he looked at me a certain way or complimented me somehow. Now, it was when he loaded the dishwasher, or talked with Ethan like this, or got up in the middle of the night to feed him that made him extremely attractive to me. I don't know if he knew exactly how sexy being fatherly and husbandly made him.

I know Bria felt the same way about Jason. We had both hit the jackpot when it came to marrying attentive, caring men. I sometimes cringed with the thought that if Max hadn't saved me, I might have a child with Dane right now. I was so scared of being pregnant last year on the beach. I realize now that it was the Dane part of the equation, not the baby part, that had me shaking in my boots. Honestly, I would have a million kids with Max, and we'd enjoy every minute spent making them. Well, a million might be an exaggeration. I'd take 3 or 4 kids, though.

"Now I have to go tell your Mommy how much I wuv her," Max told Ethan, sitting him down in his playpen.

He walked over to me, and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me close. "I am going to miss you today. Don't worry, though, we'll have our alone time tomorrow night," he exclaimed, kissing me fully on the lips. His hands found my butt, and he pulled me closer to him. My hands pulled his head to mine, and now our tongues were duking it out. Oh, I missed this. Ethan! I thought. If we got carried away in front of him, I'd never forgive myself.

"Max," I moaned, pulling away from him. He lunged toward me, attempting to continue kissing me.

"Rhee," he whispered. "Maybe we could just...real quick?"

It was so tempting! I managed to regain more self control. "Ethan's here. I can't," I said, looking toward his crib. "I'm sorry."

"See that, Ethan? Practice safe sex until you really want kids, 'cause they sure are a mood killer," Max joked, looking at Ethan sitting in his crib.
