Chapter 2.

Today we were planning on going to the beach but Hayes made plans last night with his friends. So,I guess we weren't going to be alone.

Our plan was to leave at around 12 so the sun is out. Its around 11:30 right now so we had to hurry.

The beach wasn't that far away,it was walking distance.

I grabbed my bag and stuffed it with magazines,a towel,some snacks,and sunscreen.

Kayla was with Hayes playing around in the room next door,but it all of a sudden got quiet.

Since the door connected and they always leave it unlocked I decided on going in.

I instantly regret it though. They were making out.

"STOP! We're going to be late Hayes if u keep eating her face!"

"Oh yeah whoops,I forgot we had to meetup with my friends." Hayes said

I looked over at Kayla and she looked pissed at me,but she was also blushing like crazy.

I texted the other girls to get ready and meet us down at the lobby at 11:55.

Today I was wearing a mint green fringe bikini top with matching bottoms. I never really wore bikinis since we lived in North Carolina,and it gets pretty cold there. But,today I thought I should wear one since it was Cali.

I don't really have the perfect body,I'm not too skinny,I'm not super pretty. I have greenish hazel brown eyes, Carmel brown colored hair,and a small tan. Not your average girl. I'm not too girly,sometimes boyish. I love surfing,and I'm hella weird. Yet again,I'm not the average girl. I'm stubborn,not the nicest person when giving first impressions....but I'm sometimes am.

I have had a couple boyfriends,but basically they didn't last long. I probably only had one serious realationship. Luke. We were all fine at first,then he started to abuse me. One day I just couldn't handle it and moved schools. I told jenn to tell him I killed myself so he wouldn't think I was alive. I still kept in touch with Cerenity, Jenn,Kayla,and Saige. They would occasionally come over,but mostly every weekend. The thought of it just haunted me.

We picked a spot right next to the volleyball nets. No one was really here. Well there was a lot of people but not as much as usual. Me and the girls were spreading out the towels and chairs when something hit me. I look up and see a guy smiling at me.

"Hi I'm Shawn,sorry I accidentally hit you with that ball"

"It's okay"

I have to admit,he was pretty cute. But he looked familiar. Was it the lobby? Or was it just me.

I look over at jenn,and she's frozen.

"Jennnn!"

"Yea?"

"What are you thinking about?"

"That guy that came. He was dreamy"

"Oh my god,go talk to him then!"

"No that's fine I'll just sit here and watch netflix and drink Starbucks like every other teenage girl"

"Ok" I sarcastically said.

I was tanning when I hear a bunch if noise close by. I sit up and so does Cerenity,Saige,and Jenn. I look over where Hayes is and Kayla. There's a bunch of boys,which I'm guessing is Hayes friends he's meeting up with.

They tackle Kayla into one big hug,so we decided to walk over.

Once we get to where they were all their mouths drop.

"Boys if you keep your mouths open,flys will get in it and you won't be so cute anymore now would you" said jenn.

Oh god,jenn is so funny when it comes to talking to guys. Their reaction was priceless.

Kayla introduced us,since we were in a line

"Boys this is Ava,Jenn,Saige,and Cerenity"

"Girls this Cameron,Shawn,carter , nashMatt,And Jack (J)" said Hayes.

"Hi"

"Hey"

It was so awkward. One was staring at me the whole time. He was really good looking though. He was taller than me,had brown eyes and brown hair in a quiff. He was fit.
