** Kenzie's Part **
There was banging at my door.
I rolled around in my bed trying to ignore the sound.
I creaked open my eyes and closed them again.
I didn't want to open the door.
I just wanted time to go faster so I could leave this place.
The banging continued and I needed to put an end to it.
I threw my legs over the edge of my bed and shifted over to my door.
I opened it halfway and noticed it was my father.
I slammed the door shut and walked back over to my bed.
I crawled back inside and cuddled into the warm blanket.
The door slowly opened which was dumb of me because I forgot to lock it.
"Kenz?" My dad says in his "sweet, caring, and loving" voice.
I rolled my eyes and closed them and tried to fall asleep.
"Kenzie." He says again shaking me.
"Leave me alone." I mumble while turning my back towards him.
"Kenzie, can we please talk?" He replies.
I sit up and stare at him.
"Talk? You wanna talk now? Why wouldn't you talk to me when you had all that time you didn't even use. Why didn't you talk to me when you could of had the chance. Why wouldn't you talk to me knowing that I was upset. Why wouldn't you talk to me when you knew I hated my life, and you decide you want to talk to me now? Well guess what. You can't. I'm busy right now because I have other bullshit I can do instead of waste my time talking to you, you never talked to me and thought I was a waste of your time. Well guess what. You're a waste of MY time."
I pointed to the door and his jaw dropped.
"Leave." I said again.
He got off the edge of my bed and stood on his feet.
He brushed his fancy pants and walked towards the door.
He slid through and closed it behind him.
I slammed myself back and tried to hold back my tears.
I looked at the clock.
9:30.
Just 3 more hours to go.
