** Kenzie's Part **

I sat up from my bed and looked at the clock after the millionth time.

11:50.

I got out of bed, and headed into my bathroom.

I toke a quick shower and plugged in my straightener.

Even though my hair was already naturally straight, I still liked to run through it accouple of times.

I grabbed my makeup bag from under the sink and set it on my table which was attached to the sink.

I pulled my hair out of my ponytail and got undressed.

I hopped in the shower and toke about 15 mins. to finish up.

I got out and wrapped my hair in my towel, I grabbed a change of clothes that were also sitting on the table sink with my makeup bag.

I threw on my light blue ripped tight skinny jeans, I slid on my All-Star converses, I put on my white croptop that had a quote on it that said "Live Fast, Die Young." The quote was in red and blue writing and it also showed my bellybutton piercing and was 2 fingers for the sleeves.

I pulled my hair down out of the towel and straightened it which toke about 30 mins.

For makeup, I just did foundation, black eyeliner and mascara.

I looked in the mirror and I actually smiled.

I unplugged the straightener and walked into my room, I piled my suitcases ontop of each other and kept packing other things I might need.

After a while of packing, I at least had 40 bags.

My phone started to buzz and I didn't feel like talking to anyone so I just let it ring.

It stopped ringing and then 2 mins. later it started to buzz again.

This time I picked up.

"Hello?" I asked while rolling my eyes.

"Hi Kenzie, It's your step-mother, I want you to clean my daughters room and make me food, the chef is busy right now and your father is busy on the phone-"

I cut her off right away by saying "bye" and hanging up.

I dragged all my suitcases out of my room and loaded them into my car.

I went back upstairs and grabbed my blankets and pillows.

My room was 100% spotless.

As I was making my way downstairs with my stuff, someone ran into me.

I dropped all my blankets and pillows and looked down.

"What the hell-" I looked up and noticed my father.

I bent down and picked them all back up before he could say something.

I bumped into him by walking into his shoulder and rolling my eyes.

I was completely ready and I wanted to leave as soon as possible.

I ran back upstairs so no one could talk to me and grabbed a notebook.

I grabbed a pen I found on the floor and started writing.

Dear Father,

"I'm glad I'm leaving today because I couldn't call myself your daughter. You never cared for me and just cared about your new wife and new daughters. I'm glad I'm moving in with mom because I know she will treat me 100x better. You're just a greedy man who does never for his only daughter he has. You spend money on everyone else in your life but me. I haven't ate in like 5 days and I'm glad I haven't. You don't understand how angry you make me and I just wanna kill myself for what you have made me become. I hope to never see you again and your new family. I hope you have a great life with the ones who don't even care about you.. They just like you for your money. You had the chance to spend a great life with the ones who really cared about you... But you wasted it."

- Kenzie

I taped the note to the outside of my door and closed it.

I ran down the steps and threw myself into my car.

Tears ran down my cheeks.

I shook my head and closed my eyes.

I open my eyes and look straight at my 'old' house.

I could see my dad looking through the window next to the door.

He opened the door and started to walk towards my car.

I backed out of the driveway as fast I could and then I knew life was going to be way better living with my mom.
