It was the weekend after I got off of school, I'd been trying to keep in touch with my friend by meeting up with at least one every week. My friend Kylie who I have known since forever invited me to the pool with my friend Alexis. It was opening day and it was really cold outside, the water was freezing, but we still made the best of it.

On Sunday I went over to Alexis's house to join her for her neighbor's 3rd birthday party. Alexis lives right down the street from me, 6 houses to be exact. She is like my best friend and I do almost everything with her. Alexis is a tiny thing, in fact she is so tiny that she can fit a tambourine around her waist. But I will warn you, she has a dark side.

Later that day, I spent the night at her house and we played bean boozled. We always have so much fun, until we get a little annoyed at each other.

On Wednesday Alexis and I went to see The Fault in Our Stars. We had both read the book before watching the movie. I obviously cried seeing how emotional I am, but she didn't.

Thursday was a really good day, I was dying my hair that morning. I chose the color deep emerald, a gorgeous dark teal color for the ends of my hair. It took me an hour for all the bleach and the washing and drying at color, maybe more.

Friday I went to the movie theaters on the premiere day to see How to Train Your Dragon 2. It was a great movie, we laughed and some of us almost cried. I was with Alexis, Kara, and Kylie.
