My First Date

I woke up the next morning, rubbing my eyes to the sound of The next-door neighbors dog. Rolling over to grab my phone from the charger I saw 7 notifications. With the clock standing at 10:38, "uhhhhh... so early" I said with a laugh. After scrolling through Instagram, Twitter, and Vine for almost half an hour; I jumped out of bed remembering it was the day of my first date.

I walked downstairs to get some breakfast. Greeting Max as I reached the bottom step.

"You're up early" my mom said with obvious sarcasm in her voice.

"I know" I replied while laughing.

I walked over to the toaster to put in two slices of bread in. Then I walked to the fridge to grab some strawberries and the jar of Nutella. The toast popped out of our bright red toaster. I carefully grabbed them with my fingers, until I dropped them to the floor because of the raging heat. I had to put new toast in the toaster, in the mean time I started scrolling through twitter. The timer went off again and they popped up. I grabbed them quickly and set them on the plate, and then spread Nutella on each slice. as I started to place strawberries on the slices, my brother came in.

"Hey Austin" I said with a slight smile.

"Yea Dani?" he replied

"Are you busy tomorrow?" I asked eagerly

"Maybe, why?" Austin said

"I wanted to go to the mall with Brandon, Alexis, and Kara." I replied

"Mom, do I have to?" he asked with an annoyed look.

"Until Dani gets her license, you have to go with her." she said, acting like a responsible parent.

"Fine, but I have to be at my soccer game at 5:00, so you get 2 hours. That's it." He said

"That's all I need, thank you thank you thank you." I replied said as I put down my toast.

When I was done eating my breakfast I walked upstairs to take a shower. Then dried myself off so I could put lotion on my arms and legs. The lotion is use smells like snicker doodles, it's amazing. I started putting my deodorant on when I turned on some music so I could get ready with style. After putting on deodorant I grabbed the perfume from my dresser. My mom

saw me putting in on once and laughed at me, I spray it then walk into it. Just like in all the movies with divas/girly girls. Then I thought to myself, "I need something cute, but also kinda sexy to wear tonight."

~skipping rest of the day~

When I looked at the clock I saw it said it was 6:00 and it was time to get ready. I ran to my speaker to turn on Play It Again by Luke Bryan.

I've been listening to the radio all night long

Sittin' round waiting for it to come on...

It's my favorite song right now, I love it soooooo much.

After putting on music so I could have a jam session, I walked over to my closet so I could pick out an outfit for tonight. I chose a really cute crochet crop top, torn jean shorts, and silver strappy sandals. Then I went to the bathroom so I could put on some make up. I put on some foundation, mascara, winged eyeliner, and slight coral lips. Turning the curling wand on, I heard Max come into my room and jump on my bed. I sat down on the bed and he put his head in my lap. I laid there for a little while with him, nervous about my date.
