Attached to the collar was a long chain which was handed to the human who was inside the wagon where I lay now, my father and daughter on either side of me I was the only one with the chain and collar. It would take a couple of days to get back to the kingdom of man, we had only travelled for half the day but it already felt like a lifetime. It was winter so the days were shorter and the nights were longer which meant longer stops and it would take longer to get there, which also means I was being a leaning post for father and daughter at sleepless nights. I was doing off when I felt Lorena move onto my lap and father placing his hand on my shoulder they both fell instantly asleep and I was close to following them into slumber, the rocking of the wagon came to a halt and I wanted to stay awake to see what would happen but the blissfulness of darkness took me.

I groaned as I felt a hand caress my face and I opened my eyes and saw the human who was guarding the wagon over me, "Do not touch me again." I croaked my throat being soar as I had nothing to drink for a few hours, there was furry in his eyes and it looked like he wanted to hit me but thought better of it. I must still be under the protection of the king and I almost wished I wasn't as I would rather have felt the pain then this numbness that I was feeling right now, but I could feel  the tug on my collar so I placed Lorena on father's lap and his head on the board behind him. We got out of the wagon and the human dragged me toward the biggest of the tents, Wardric was standing with his arms folded against his chest at the entrance with a smug smile upon his face.

"I can take it from here, go back to guarding the wagon." The human handed over the chain and then began to walk away, Wardric guided me into the tent and I already knew  what was going to happen, I had to roll my eyes as this was getting predictable. "So, was the trip so far been comfortable for you?" He smirked at me so I glared back, he gave a sigh we both seemed to  do that a lot, "You could ride with me if you behave," my glare still in place. "I guess not then, that is disappointing." I knew this was childish but I just wanted to go home, I don't want to be an assassin anymore I just wanted to live a normal life with my family. I was so into my thoughts I hadn't realised Wardric was right behind me until it was too late. He whispered into my ear, "Our first time was supposed to be special, so very special. But I had to rush I wanted you for so long and you were just there, you do understand, do you?"

It wasn't worth an answer so I just looked ahead head held high, as he was behind me I glanced around the tent. Red plush pillows, a desk with a lantern on top, a map on top and a bed with even more pillows. It was nice, nicer than I ever had and it was a tent, I felt his hand on my hip guiding my body into a swaying motion. "What are you doing?" He ignored me like I ignored him except he started to hum, one of his arms trapped two of mine to my sides and his other hand slides my hair behind my back, "What are you doing?" I repeated forcefully.

"I am going to show you what you are missing," he began to lick and nibble on my neck I shivered and gasped as he began to trail down to where my shoulder connects to my neck. He let go of my arms but it was still around my waist pulling me even closer towards him, he moved his hand down towards my crotch. Luckily for me he held me to his chest because I surely would have collapsed from the touch alone, my cheeks turned red as I was acting like I had been touched before, like a virgin. "You are flushed already and we had hardly started," the sound of his voice snapped me out of my daze. I pushed him away from me and fell into a pile of pillows but I also forgotten about the rope and collar around my neck, he caught the rope before I could fully make my escape, I felt like kicking myself for not trying to leave sooner.

"I would never willingly sleep with you, I loved you like a friend and for some unknown reason I still do, please do not ruin it even more than you already have." He paused in his tugging with a thoughtful expression, it seemed to come towards a decision because he stared at me and smirked like he was up to something.

"How about you become my adviser again, like it was before, forget about the last few years. Let us become friends again?" In the end, it turned out to be a question, I frowned at him wondering why he suddenly changed his mind. Maybe I could use this to my advantage but there must be a catch, and I was right. "But the only way for that to happen id to distance yourself from your family," all I could do was stare at him, all I could do was think about the positive and the negative if I go through with it. The positive would be that I was on the inside and if I do become the adviser then I could turn any of his plans to an advantage for the elves, and the negative would be that I wouldn't be able to see my family. I stared at Wardric and nodded my head, he smirked as he took off my collar off me, "I got something to show you?" We walked to the table and saw the map I was going to use for my journey, "What is this map all about?"
