Dizzy||

Carter||

Heights have never quite been your forte and it just so happens that Carter had dragged you onto the biggest, fastest rollar coaster in the entire park. He promised that it would be really fun and that you would love it, but now as you slowly crept up the chains in your little cart right in the front row, Carter's hand clamped tightly in yours, you wanted to kill him. "Y/N your gonna be fine. Just squeeze my hand." He said, and you could tell he was trying to suppress a laugh, which made you shoot him a death glare through your almost closed eyes, before you exhaled shakily and dug your long nails into the skin of his palm. "Shit that hurts Y/N!" Carter complained slash laughed, and you just kept applying constant pressure to his palm. Your head felt like it was floating up above your body and your stomach didn't feel much better, and when the rollar coaster finally dropped you felt fear, freedom, and adrenaline release into your bloodstream, the influx of reactions causing you to become dizzy. Once the ride finally came to end, you forced yourself to move quickly to the other side of the cart where the path down the the rest of the cart was, and Carter was still buzzing from his adrenaline rush. "See Y/N you did it! Was it really that bad?" He asked you, a smile playing on his face as he grabbed your hand, swinging your arms back and forth like in a cheesy movie. You giggled and looked over at him, rolling your eyes playfully. "Fine, fine, it was fun. I'll admit that." You said and he just smiled cockily and lightly kissing your cheek.

Nash||

You were trying desperately to fit an impossible amount of knowledge into your brain and your hands had been shaking for the last hour and a half, completely out of control of you. Finals were going to make or break you, and right now you were leaning toward break because no matter how hard you tried you, for the life of you, could not understand chemistry formulas and it was basically eating you alive. Nash had come over fifteen minutes, and ever since then he had been begging you too stop. "Y/N you look really pale, you need to take a break." He said lightly, pushing your book slightly out of your face. The sudden break in concentration from the small words of the text made you go dizzy and you shook your head once before looking over at him, tears in your eyes. "Nash why am I so stupid? Why can't I just get it!" You groaned in frustration, trying to keep the tears from leaking out of your eyes. He sighed and pulled you over to your bed, laying down with you and stroking your hair softly. "Y/N your not stupid. You've been studying for hours and now it's just time to sit back and let the test come when it will. You can't do anymore to prepare right now." He said soothingly, and you exhaled in time with his words. You nodded slightly and snuggled your head into his chest, closing your eyes softly to try and calm the headache that came from straining your eyes on your flash cards.

You were so screwed. Beyond screwed. Like majorly fucked. Not only had you managed to crash your dads new car, but you could have seriously injured yourself or your younger siblings sitting in the back seat. All your emotions flooded your system at once and after it was all said and done, and the car was towed and your parents came and picked up your siblings and yelled at you in front of everyone for almost two hours, you finally got away. You made your way to Cams house quickly, knocking on his door like you were trying to break it down. When he answered you just flung yourself into his arms, and he almost fell over in shock, but he acted quickly and pulled you over to the couch and sat you down on his lap. "Y/N what's wrong?" He asked full of concern, and for some reason the sincerity in his voice just made you cry harder. "C-cam I crashed my dads car this morning and everyone was fine but I could have killed my younger sister and I would have never forgiven m-myself!" You shuddered, the mere thought knocking the wind out of you and making you feel horribly dizzy. "Your okay Y/N. There fine, no one was hurt and she's already forgiven you, I promise." He soothed, kissing your forehead whilst rocking you back and forth melodically. But you couldn't help but picture what could have been, a mangled car, or blood everywhere, and the images just wouldn't leave your brain. "Cam what if she had gotten hurt?" You whispered, obviously frightened. He pulled his face up to yours and looked your straight in the eyes. "Baby, we all make mistakes. And the important thing is that she is fine, and now you just have to breathe easy and try not to think of the 'what ifs' okay?" He said, and you nodded, sighing dejectedly. You let yourself go limp in his grip, breathing in and out and feeling his heart beat against your back, the images slowly leaving your brain along with the fear.
