THEY pulled up in front of their house and even before Richie was off his bike Renee was rushing through the door. She noticed her dads shoes on the ground by the couch, he was home but she didn't care. She gave up on caring about her parents. She pulled herself up the stairs, the feeling in her foot numb now. She wanted to get away from everyone, she want to shove her thoughts because if she didn't she would drown in them. They saw the clown.

Eddie was nearly killed. The group just gave up on Bill. Bill. Bill kissed her. He kissed her. Then she pulled away and left him standing her. With everyone giving up on him in the moment she left him standing there.

Her bed room door was already open as she walked through it. The door slammed shut with a push of her hand, knocking off some pictures she had on her wall. The bed hit the wall, her body being thrown on it, her cover being messed up by it. Have you ever had something bad happen to you. Something you should be sad about, but you just don't. You really don't know how you feel. She ignored the sound of foot steps coming towards you door. Wanting to ignore the fact that Richie was probably running after her. She just buried her head in her pillow.

The door opened and a heavy pair of foot steps walked through the door. "What's with all the noise?" Her head shot up and looked at her dad that stood by her door. His eyes traveled to her daughter who sat on her bed with wide, sad eyes. He sighed and made his way to sit by her. "What's wrong?" The girl froze. Her dad just ask if she was ok.

"Like you would care," She mumbled. Her head found its way back to her pillow, hugging it close like it was stop everything that was running through her mind. She hated the fact her dad was asking if she was alright, he was gone all the time. Always way from his family. He never seemed to care if she was alright, and now he's asking. Way to many years to late.

He sighed once again and ran his hand down his face before setting one on his daughters back. She flinched at the touch and pushed her body away from him. "Look, I know I haven't been the best dad to the two of you but..know I still care." You were off the bed in a matter of seconds, already tired of him being here. "How about I take you and your brother out to eat?" She rolled her eyes at the man and glared at the man she called her father.

"No. I think we're fine." They both looked over at Richie who stood in the door way, his eyes glaring at them through his glasses. His arms were crossed and he had a harsh frown on his lips. "Can you go know? I needed to talk to Renee." Their dad shook his head at their harsh words toward him but left at Richie's request.

"Richard..." The door was closed and block the siblings from their father before the man could finish-or even start his sentence. They both let out a breath of relief, they room seemed to have gotten ten times bigger once he left. Renee now wasn't afraid breath, but taking a look at her brother help the tears finally fall. Her knees let out and she fell to the carpeted floor.

"Rae...," Richie whispered. He sat down next to her and pulled her into a hug. She let out a small laugh at the use if her old nickname but the sound was drowned out by her crying. Her hands gripped his shirt and before they started to hit his chest. She slow started to speak, Richie didn't stop her from hitting him. He upset her with what he did back there, even through he hated his best friend right now(for more then one reason)and would change how he had things play out he was there for his sister.

"Bill. Bill, you just left Bill. We left Bill," She began, she clinched her fists, digging her nails into the palm of her hand. "You could've left him be. He just wanted to believe there was a shot at getting his brother back!" She stopped. Rapping her arms around his neck she pulled him into another hug. "I love you, Rich, but you need to learn to keep your mouth shut." He laughed at his sister and pulled away.

"I love you, Rae, but my jokes are the best." She shook her head and used her fingers to pull at the carpet. "You know I wasn't talking about your jokes." He smiled and stood from his spot on the floor.

"I know."

She made her way down the stairs, looking behind her every few seconds making sure she didn't wake her brother. She looked over at the couch and saw I empty, meaning her mom was gone or up in her parents bed. She let out a sigh of relief and headed to the kitchen. Using the light through the small window to guide her to the phone, she picked to up.

The raven haired teen let out a shaky sigh and put the phone to her ear after putting in his number. Her body shook in fear he wouldn't answer or his parents would reach it before he did. She let strands of her hair fall in her face, ignoring the fact that it was almost midnight. She an Richie use their time to make sandwiches for dinner and a fort that they hung out in until they passed out. The fort was now broke and most the blanket were piled over Richie as he snored.

"Hello?" She stopped breathing for a second and let his voice echo in her head befire she shook herself out of it and spoke.

"Hey Bill." Bill swallowed hard, any and all signs of sleep were gone as he realised who it was in the other side of the phone. "I-I-" Her voice became to shaky to even understand a word that came out of her mouth, she wasn't even sure what she was saying. She just needed to say something to him.

"R-R-Renee, I-I-I'm sorry-sorry, s-so sorry-y-y for--Shit!" He cursed as his stutter got worse, he just needed to apologize. "I'm sorry for kissing-
k-kissing y-y-you."

"Don't be."

Most of their time on the phone was silent, just them listening to each others breathing. They stayed up till their clocks read three am, they didn't even need to say a word they just needed to know the other was there, there for the other one.
