CHAPTER ONE: A Run-In With One Direction

“C’mon guys! We need to get it!” I yell at my friends. They groan. We have been working FOREVER in the car wash at our school.

The reason we are having a car wash in the middle of sixth period is because we are trying to get tickets for One Direction. We might have a school trip to the concert for our test scores, but WE have to raise the money.

“Fine. Niall better be happy we’re doing this for tickets to see him!” Kay groaned. Ashley nodded her agreement. She likes Liam.

“I just want to see my Bradford Bad Boi, for crying out loud! Jay, you probably just want to see Louis!” Abby teased me.

Kailey rolled her eyes at us while starting on the next car. I sighed while heading over to help Kail. Whenever I passed Abby, I “tripped,” and spilled soapy water all on the front of her T-Shirt. Thank God it wasn’t white!

“JENNA!!! WHAT THE CRAP WAS THAT ABOUT?!?!” Abby yelled at me.

“For teasing me… I LOVE YOU ABBY!!” I mumbled at first, then shouted the last part, ‘cause I know she can’t stay mad at me when I say that! She smiles at me and prances away to get another car with Kay trailing behind her. Ash comes to help me and Kail.

“Do you really think we’ll get the tickets?” Ash asks.

“Of course we will!! By the end of the day, we should have enough…” I trail off because the bell rang. After we finish the cars we already started, they left and we counted the money.

“WE CAN AFFORD THE TICKETS, LADIES!!!” The principle shouts out of the bullhorn to the entire senior class. Everyone erupted into applause. I nearly busted an eardrum!

“Okay, you all come over to my house to get ready for the concert. We need to look like the most beautiful girls EVER if we want them to notice us!” I said to the girls. They nodded and we all dispersed to head home for the next week and a half.

        A Week and a Half Later…

“C’mon guys! We need to get ready and FAST!! We’re running late!!” Kay screams at us.

I grab the outfit that I had ready. It was a white singlet with black skinny jeans, with my favorite red Chuck Taylor’s. For my hair, I just curled it and stuck a white flower above my ear. For makeup, I just put on a light shade of blush and some lip-gloss.

Kailey was wearing short denim shorts that went mid-thigh, with a green shirt, at the bottom of the shirt; it was shredded into little strips, with black Nike sneakers. She had light pink lipstick on with a light sprinkle of glitter across her nose. Her black hair was already curly, so she already looked good.

Kay was wearing jean capris with a white poncho shirt that went over one shoulder with a blue undershirt on, with light blue converse. She had light red lipstick on, and blue eye-shadow that actually looked good with her light brown eyes.

Ashley was wearing a specially made shirt that said, “Directioner Forever.” It was brown, with light brown eye-shadow, and light lip-gloss on. She had brown flats on.

Abby was wearing shorts with a sparkly white shirt, with white converse on. She had brown eye-shadow; it was dark but very pretty. She also had dark red lipstick on.

We all had on Varsity jackets on. Kay’s said, “Mrs. Horan,” Ashley’s said, “Mommy Direction,” Abby’s said, “Bradford Bad Girl,” Kail’s said, “Hazza’s Mine,” and mine said, “Lou’s Hazza.”

After we were all dressed, we took my Camaro to the school, and got on the bus we had to take to get our tickets.

After the hour long drive, we finally arrived at the stadium they were playing at. We all got our tickets from the teacher and left the safety of the bus. The girls and I sprinted for the gates to get in, and boy was it nasty!! We were pushed in each and every direction. It took us twenty minutes to get in, but we did!

Whenever we got in, we couldn’t find the rest of the group!

“Uh… Guys? Where is everyone?” Kay asked.

  The rest of us panicked.

“What are we going to do?!” I asked.

“Let’s go look around. Maybe they’re around here, somewhere.” Kay answered.

We all headed to the left. It led to a hallway, a LOOONG hallway. We all shared a look, before continuing. Later on down the hallway, it came to a turn.

“Should we go right, or keep straight?” Abby asked.

“I say go right.” Ashley answered. We all nodded and turned right, just to ram into someone. We all screamed in shock as we fell on our butts. The other people fell, too, from what I could hear.

“Oh my carrots! I am so sorry! We didn’t mean…” I trailed off, looking up to the faces of the people we ran into.

It was the incredibly good-looking faces of One Direction!
