Dean's P.O.V.
"Sammy, you're supposed to be the smart one. How can I answer questions like that without my daily nutritious breakfast?" I huffed, tugging my arms through my brown leather jacket all the while glancing back at the giant I called a brother.

Sam sighed, wiping a hand over his sunken eyes, "Dean, this demon has already killed 9 people and I don't want it to kill any more."

"Which is exactly why we need to go get breakfast: more energy equals more demon ganking. The bitch is less likely to get any hits in if we eat our soul-replenishing food." I grabbed my keys, not waiting for an answer as I twisted the rusty door handle and swing the door wide open.

"Get me an egg white omelette!" Sam called, his nose still buried in his laptop. I sighed, wondering why he even cares to eat healthy. We don't generally live long lives so you gotta make the most of what you get and that is why I eat pie. For breakfast. Everyday.

I walked towards Baby, her paint glistening in the morning Sun, and patted her hood. Still beautiful as ever.

Twisting the key in the lock, I pulled the door open and stepped in, savoring the cool temperature that was still held in the air. Soon Baby's interior would be even more smoking hot than usual so this was a small reverie.

I pulled out of the motel parking lot and headed North towards a small diner that Sam and I had passed when we came in. When I was about 8 minutes away, I heard a flutter of wings from behind me and somehow I knew it was Cas.

"What's up, Cas?" I greeted, looking at his sky blue eyes through the rear view mirror and immediately uncovering more anxiety than I'd ever seen in his ancient orbs. My heart began to race.

"Cas, what happened?" After the angel hadn't replied for a few seconds, I half-yelled, "Come on, Cas, you don't just pop in a guy's car with that look in your eyes and not say anything. What ha-"

He cut me off, his hands and voice shaking,"You have a daughter, Dean, who has been obviously shielded from my view. Why would I keep such a tremendously huge fact away from yo-"

"Woah, woah, woah, Cas. You're going so fast it almost sounded like you said I had a daughter. Now, take deep breaths. In and out, in and out-" I would have kept on giving the distressed baby Zoomba lessons except the bitch interrupted me again, this time I was able to make out his nervous yet slightly agitated words. By this time, I had already pulled Baby over.

"Dean, you do not understand. Every supernatural being is talking about Dean Winchester's long-lost daughter walking the Earth once more with powers unknown to Heaven nor Hell. The angels have granted me the responsibility of capturing her and using her as a weapon so as to further the interests of Heaven. Obviously, I declined this request and returned back to Earth and now we are up to the present moment." Cas looked as if he had tried to swallow a squirrel by the time he was finished and it took several deep breaths to get him back to his normal color.

I stared at him in shock, thinking that the God-Cas had finally gotten to him. Of course I didn't have a daughter. I couldn't. I had always used protection except for one time and that was......

My face drained of all its color and my mouth became increasingly dry. "Cas," I ventured hesitantly, my heart hammering in my chest, "How old is the girl?"

I could feel his eyes burning into the back of my head, curiosity more than likely evident in his endless oceans. "18 years old but-"

"Dammit, Cas!" I slammed my hands against the steering wheel, my eyes squeezed shut. How could this happen? Why didn't Nellie tell me? How could I leave my daughter? Would she hate me? Is she safe? Why was she only on Earth until now? Why-

"Dean, I know this is not a good time but I believe the girl is in great danger. She knows about the supernatural world and she has caught a lot of unwanted attention. Many beings are already looking for her and not just to spite you. I do not know where she is so we should start looking for her now," Cas coaxed, his voice getting softer than I had ever heard it. I nodded and with shaky hands, I put Baby into reverse and floored it back to the motel, every possible question and worry flooding my mind.

*Back at the motel*
"So let me get this straight; Dean has an 18 year old daughter that has just sprung up out of nowhere and is in incredible danger." When Cas nodded, Sam continued, "How did you not know about this earlier?"

"Well it's not like we haven't been busy and plus, how am I supposed to know about my kid if the woman that had the kid didn't tell me in the first place?!" I yelled, my hand raking over my face as stress bubbled in my gut, my migraine taking a turn for the worst. Ever since we've gotten here, Sam has been asking questions non-stop and I get that but damn was it annoying. I didn't even know I had a kid until 15 minutes ago and he expects me to know her entire life story!

Sam sent me an apologetic look before turning back to Cas, his eyes searching for information. "What do you know about her?"

"Not much, just that her name is Aella-Andronika Winchester, she is eighteen years old, her parents are Dean Winchester and Penelope Silvio, and she is in America. Other than that, I do not know," Cas admitted solemnly, avoiding our eyes.

"Well, we need to find her. There's no telling how much danger she's in and she's only eighteen years old; she probably can't even lift a gun."

"Thanks for pointing out the obvious, Sammy." I rolled my eyes and quickly got out my phone before dialing a couple of numbers, praying to God that some hunter might know where she is. Sam opened his laptop after glaring at me for a solid 30 seconds and started looking through some police records. He's just jealous I have a daughter and he doesn't.

After about 30 calls and 3 beers, I finally come across a hunter that knows where my daughter is. He said to meet him in a local coffee shop called "Chloe's" in Portland, Oregon in two days. I frantically wrote down the information cause you know I'll forget that shit in 2.3 seconds if I don't. I spun around and met Sam's questioning stare.

"Stop looking at me like Barney stole your lollipop and pack; we got a daughter to find. Damn that sounded so pervy." I whispered that last part and quickly threw clothes into my duffel bag, hitting Sam in the face twice with my shirts. Can't say I missed.

Sam went to check out of the motel, leaving me with one somber angel. "Cas, what's up?"

"I am sorry, Dean. I could not inform you of your daughter earlier and now she is in grave danger. I should have found out before-"

"This isn't your fault, Cas; you couldn't have known. I mean, you said she just appeared on Earth a few months ago and we had no idea who she was or even that I had a kid. You're not to blame." As I finished cleaning off my gun, I saw him nod and head to the door, Sam appearing on the threshold.

"We're checked out."

"Let's go."
