(obvs a joke)

Yan had always had nosebleeds, and they only seemed to get worse when it was warm out-correction, when he was warm. Too warm, to be exact. It didn’t always happen, of course. Sometimes he’d get dizzy alongside it as well. Especially if he was standing.

He managed to keep it to himself for the most part, save for Dr. Iplier. He figured the doctor of the group aught to know.

It was always messy, so when he just started gushing blood out of nowhere in the middle of the other egos arguing and had to cover his nose it was… alarming, to say the least. The Host had been narrating, Yan had only seconds since hearing of his incident to react. He managed to dive across the meeting room table and yank the napkin out from under Bim’s bagel before it got too bad.

“What the hell, Yan-”

All the heated commotion from before had halted as the others turned their attention to one of the youngest of the egos. Some concerned, like the doctor and Silver Shepard. Others curious, like Wilford.

“Sorry, sorry.” Yan said, tilting his head back. He was never quite sure if he should tilt it this way or that. So many mixed opinions on that.

“I think that’s as good enough a place as any to pause our discussion.” Dark rubbed his temple, thankful for the distraction. If that debate had continued he felt like he’d pop a blood vessel, if they even worked anymore. “Yandereplier?”

“This just-it happens! No big deal.”

“A very big deal.” Doc interrupted, “I told you this would happen sooner or later, this is why I suggested you not attend meetings like this one. You got heated.”

He was red in the face from listening to all that bickering.

He huffed, shooting Doc a glare and a pout. Yan didn’t want to sit out just because of a little blood, he wanted to be useful dammit! He already felt forgettable, he wanted to at least have some kind of role here at HQ. “I can attend just fine, thank you very much!”

“Yan.” Dark hardly referred to him with just ‘Yan’, “Perhaps you should listen to Dr. Iplier. We don’t want you getting so stressed that you can’t perform.”

“But-”

“Yan, I’ll personally ban you from any future meetings if you’d prefer?” his eyes challenged Yan to say something more on the matter, and when he didn’t Dark relaxed. “Good, we’re in agreement then.”

He stood, “No more meetings for Yandereplier from now on, you can spend that time doing other tasks.”
