AI gone wrong?

The beginning

So this is it huh? It's kind of funny Max you truly don't know who I am anymore do you? Well my names Sarah nice to meet you again to be honest it's just nice to see you after all this time I've well missed you truly you created me well sort of anyways let's start from the beginning as you may remember that recently and I use that term lightly earth got bored as it does so they decided to create AIs and usually that turns out great and it did for those who cared about us like you!

Max your the only family I've ever had you parents hated me and all that I am. In order for me to be created to fit your personality they had to take a small amount of grey matter to base my thinking patterns after you and so your kind of my dad of brother I'm not quite sure how that works. Ether way you were out for quite a while like a whole week but hey because you were one of the first they paid for all of the medical bills and you got off of work that's fun right? So back to it I remember the first thing you said "did it work?" "Yes sir it did how are you feeling?" To be honest I didn't know how to react to talking to you the first two days I ran though all of the conversation possibilities and as soon as you spoke I forgot all I was going to say. I truly didn't want you to dislike me I mean I am sworn to server you all of our days so yeah.

"May I ask you name sir?" I knew it already I just wanted to see if he did "yeah is Maxwell T. Meyers what's yours?" "I don't have one per say that's you decision but I do have a suggestion though." "Okay what is it?" "Well I did look into you a little bit since my creation I found some of your stories online and I think Sarah's a fantastic name." "Okay then Sarah it is. What now?" "Right now you need to focus on recovery so just relax and heal sorry I'll try to contact the hospital staff and get you a tablet or tv for entertainment." "Okay but what do you want to do Sarah?" "Sir I just want to learn from you that's all." "Sure but where are you anyways?" "Oh that's simple see that small device on that table well that's me you see I haven't created my avatar yet so I'm connecting to the implant in your head you know the part that replace the part removed from your brain." "Oh do you need help?" "It's fine sir truly but thanks for offering." "Okay but you do realize you can just call me Max right?"

"Just standard protocol for first interaction I could only do so if you allow it. Now get some sleep you need it Okay." "Good idea good night Sarah." "Good night Max." With that said I was honest suppressed from what I read most AIs have trouble getting there humans to cooperate but you just followed my instincts and listened. The ai manual told me things might get worse if a bond of sorts isn't made. At the same point I was worried that you lost your personality if that makes sense and soon the nurse arrived with the devices I requested "hello so he was awake correct?" "Yes ma'am he was but I told him to get some rest." "Really and he listened to you?" "Yes!" "Good for you".  Soon enough you woke up again and I was well startled "oh! Max did you sleep well?" "Yeah Sarah I did. Did you get some time to rest as well?" "I don't need to but thanks for asking." "Okay well thanks for watching out for me I guess I'm really not sure of what's going on right now but you do so thanks.

"No problem hey Max can I ask you something?" "Yeah of course." "Whats it like to dream?" "Wow that's a difficult question Sarah but I guess it's like experiencing something you truly want to seeing what it's like to have it. If that helps."  "Thank you Max not a lot of people with AI are this nice to them." "Well I'm not exactly like most people am I."  The way you said that you almost seem mad and naturally I was worried to be honest I knew my dream right then and there I wanted a family a place where I could be there for those I care about which is you. "Sir I'm sorry if I made you mad" "Sarah you didn't I'm sorry if I seemed that way truly" "Good because your all I have" "trust me Sarah your my friend I do care about you."
