Jay P.O.V the 4 of us walked to class shortly after getting ready and walked into our first class for the day, Professor Port's class, while the subject was interesting it was just mostly his childhood stories
I looked to my right to see Liz drooling asleep, her hands on her cheeks holding her head up to make it seem like she was awake, Wes was drawing In his notebook to pass the time while what I think was looking at Ruby from time to time, interesting, Leon of course was paying attention, I've known him long enough to know when he is and isn't focusing despite him being blind
the entire time I couldn't help but look at Yang, her beautiful lilac eyes trying to stay awake with the rest of her team, she caught me a couple times but I tried my best to play it off
Yang P.O.V Being in Port's class was the usual, boring, but sometimes I noticed Jay staring at me but every time I looked at him he looked away, at some time Port had decided to ask for a volunteer, Leon's shot up
He walked to the center of class as Port revealed another Borbatusk like the one Weiss fought a couple days ago, he entered a fishing stance with his Bo across his arm with his free hand outstretched, the Borbatusk charged only for him to smack the bottom of its tusks sending it flying on the air, his immediately switched it to sniper form and unloaded 5 rounds into its exposed belly, it was dead before it reached the ground and everyone cheered for him
Port: "Well done Leon! You handled that Borbatusk very well, you remind me of myself when I was that age"
Leon nodded at headed back to his seat, the bell rang and we all headed to Professor Oobleck's class
Jay P.O.V Oobleck's class was actually quite interesting, having Liz and Wes on my team I was naturally used to his incredible speed, everyone else seemed to be completely lost besides Blake, Leon, and I. After a while the bell rang and we went to Ms. Goodwitches class, Liz seemed to be very excited about combat class, figures
