It is now three twenty, the time I usually get home. Before I get out of the truck, I lean over and kiss his cheek goodbye. "Bye," Corbyn says to me as I get out of the truck.
When I get inside, mom was waiting for me.
"You went with Corbyn last night to a party, correct."
My stomach immediately drops.
"Yes ma'am."
"And you fell asleep?"
"No ma'am." I feel tears in my eyes.
"Then what did you do?"
"We.... we got drunk. He called his friend to come pick us up, we stayed the night, and went back to his place today." I feel myself shaking because I could tell my mom is disappointed in me.
"Go." She points upstairs indicating for me to go to my room.
"Take the hoodie off too. I'll tell him to come and get it, but that's the last of seeing him."
I walk up the stairs with the tears rolling down my face. I shut my door behind me, slumping down, starting to cry even harder.
-Later-
I start to slip his hoodie off of my bare skin, remembering I left my shirt over at his house. I search in my closet until I find a comfy shirt. I sit on my bed, pulling out my phone.
Emma- "can you call me?"
A couple minutes later Corbyn calls me.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
I start to cry again. Trying to get the words out of my mouth is too hard. I have to force myself to say it.
"I... I can't see you anymore." I say sniffling.
"What? What happened? Do you need me to come over?"
I couldn't talk to him any longer. "Come get your hoodie." I hang up.
