"Da·· man, she's knocked out."
"Holy sh··."
"Fu··, dude. Look at 'er."
"Can you guys leave her alone man?"
I slowly opened my eyes as all the words around me were a blur. I looked around as people hovered over me.
"She's awake."
I didn't know these men. They were probably all drug dealers. I looked down. My cigarettes laid out of my pocket, some cigarettes out and spreaded. My ripped shorts stained with a bit of blood.
What the heck happened that there's blood?
I looked back up, seeing a man be pushed away, him cursing at that. I blinked for a second, uncovering my eyes to see a white, freckled man.
"Ya alright?""Y-yea I'm f-fine." I say, studdering in pain.
"You don't look fine." he said.
I was probably still on the drugs."In fine, okay."
He knelt down. He went to put his hand on my head, but I pushed it away.
"I'm fine!!" I screeched a bit.
"Listen, I grew up here. You think I wouldn't know if someone's taking drugs or," he pointed to the cigarettes, "smoking.""Yea, well I grew here too and I'm fine!"
I tried getting up, but I fell down with a thud."Ah, so who's alright now?"
I looked at him with a death glare.
He chuckled.
"I'll take you to my place since its not far from here, and I'll getcha fixed up."
He stood up and reached out his hand, in which I grabbed.
I walked with him, limping and my arm in his left shoulder."Ayo, Ant! Keep vat mami safe, a'ight?" A street man yelled.
I looked back at him, another death glare in my eyes.
Anthony just chuckled and we continued walking.
