For Life (EXO Fanfiction)

CHAPTER 3

7 hours. I still have 7 hours left for my shift and I have no idea how I'll do my job in peace with my brain going haywire.

Upon reaching the staff lounge, I went directly to my locker and opened my phone.

There it is. Previews of EXO arriving at the airport. Fans are waiting for them and there are even videos.

I sighed and put my phone back. How will I function properly now, knowing that EXO is in the same building with me?

"Eris!" I turned around and saw one of my co-workers waving at me.

"Oh, ready to go home?" I asked her noticing her backpack.

"Yup. Just finished all my task. Lianne is looking for you."

Lianne is the closest work mate that I have. She's got two kids. A girl and a boy and she's a single mom.

"Where is she?"

"I think she's outside. She seem to have a problem about the kids."

I instantly felt worried, momentarily forgetting the whole ordeal that I was in earlier. Riyen and Mino are such sweet kids and I actually babysit them sometimes. Mino is 6 and Riyen is 5.

After thanking her, I made my way out and spotted Lianne talking to someone on the phone. I waited until she's done before approaching her.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked looking for any trace of panic on her face.

"Oh my gosh! Thank God you're here." Her face brightened instantly upon seeing me. But frowned upon having a good look at my face. "Are you okay? Did you just cry?"

"What? No! I didn't. My eyes just hurt a bit." I told her checking if I still have any trace of tears on my face.

"If you say so..." she said, still not sure if she's going to believe me. Then she seem to remember something and looked at me with her eyes wide open. "Hey! Do you know that EXO is already here? Not just here in the Philippines, but here on our hotel! I should've believed the rumors weeks ago about idols staying here again. But those rumors have already been circulating since last year and it never actually happened and you were so busy these past few days to even listen to rumors. But they're here!"

"Woah. Slow down." I told her while trying my best to look surprised. "Are you sure? Oh my gosh. That's amazing!" Now, I am no longer faking it. It really is amazing even though I have already met two of them in person.

"I know right!" She replied as if she's also a fan and fanned herself with her hands. "I had a glimpse of them when they arrived at the lobby earlier and oh my gosh they are so cute!"

I smiled looking at her acting like me when thinking about EXO. "I told you they're cute!"

"I know, I know." She replied rolling her eyes at me. "Hey, do you want to know what room they're staying at? We can ask Ian." She said talking about our friend from the reception. "You must have a selfie with them before they leave! You told me they'll only be here for a one day concert!"

"It's okay, Lianne. I don't want to invade their privacy. They have way too much work to do and I want them to rest fully while they're here. Miss Santiago will kill me if she find out that I am stalking our guest. I still need this job before I fly to Korea, you know." I jokingly told her. "And how many times do I have to tell you that it's 'selca'. Koreans call it 'selca'".

"Ah, whatever." She said and waved her hand at me. "Oh, speaking of Miss Santiago. I really need your help." She said and I remembered the reason why I looked for her.
