Chapter 8
(Reminder: The story will not be in sync with whatever EXO's activity/schedule have now. As this is a fiction, I will be getting facts from their daily activities but will be adding purely fictional events for the story line, too. Thank you.)
Have you ever had a moment where you just stop with whatever you are doing and take in everything happening around you?
Have you ever experienced shutting down all thoughts on your mind so you can appreciate how beautiful a moment is?
Because I do.
I am doing both right now.
If someone told me last week that I will be having a loud and happy dinner with EXO today, I would have probably laughed right at their face then cry after for making me think of things that will never ever happen.
But here I am today, grilling meat for them. Hearing their laughter while silently drinking a shot of Soju that Kai poured for me.
Inang, our beloved KPop concert producer in the Philippines joined us for a while earlier but had to go because it is already getting too late. She got two adorable munchkins and she'll have to do Mommy duties, too.
Manager-nim is a silent but kind guy. He is that kind of superior at work that will never make you feel that you are always being scrutinized with what you are doing.
"Oh, what happened to your ticket, by the way? Did you keep it as a souvenir?" Baekhyun suddenly asked, looking at me from the other side of the long table.
"Oh, I posted a give away on Twitter and gave it to someone as a gift."
"Wah. Our Eris is so generous." Chen chimed in making me smile.
"Well, Mi Jin suggested it when I was thinking of what to do with it. I figured, someone outside the arena that really really wants to go in should have it instead of it being left unused in by bag."
They all nodded as approval and I beamed.
They then started telling me stories about their previous concert venues and how loud EXOLs around the world really chants.
The dinner passed by quickly, I guess that really happen when you're having an amazing time.
They had to talk about something contract related before we leave the restaurant so I've decided to go out for a moment and give them privacy.
There is a bench outside the restaurant. The place looks like a smoking area but it is surrounded by some tall twirly topiary and is quite spacious. There is also no one around aside from me so sitting there is quite refreshing and calming.
I found myself humming Peter Pan after sitting there for a while when I heard the side door of the restaurant opened.
It was Kyungsoo and Sehun coming out.
"Uhmmm..." I started thinking if I should start a conversation when they sat beside me. I am on an EXO sandwich. Kyungsoo on my left and Sehun on my right side.
"Sorry." Sehun suddenly said that made me sit up straight.
"Eh? What for?" I figured he's saying sorry to me because he glanced at me for a couple of seconds before staring at the space in front of him again.
"I realized I haven't been talking to you properly for the past hours. I'm sorry."
"Oh, no no. It's fine. You don't have to apologize." Because he really doesn't have to.
