2 days later.
Only two days had passed, yet so much had happened. So many emotions, so much pain, and so much chaos. So many mistakes had been made, some that were hidden behind the surface of pride and hurt.
Choices had been made, arrangements had been made, and everything had been set in motion.
It was in the early hours of dawn that Taehyung sat down on an uncomfortable plastic chair in the Incheon Airport and leaned back, numb to everything going on around him. He wore a simple hat and face mask to disguise himself, even though there were little to no people present. He didn't notice the two pairs of eyes watching him with pitiful gazes and didn't notice when one of them came up to him and put a warm cup of tea in his hands.
Taehyung kept recalling the events of the past few days. To be more precise, he recalled the words that Jungkook had said to him. Jungkook's words and Jimin's. He had hoped that if there was to be anyone unconditionally supporting him, it would be his best friend and boyfriend. He had always believed those two would be by his side, supporting him, protecting him, and helping him no matter what.
How wrong he had been. How very wrong he had been.
Taehyung, to put it plainly, felt betrayed. The two people that were the closest to him were the ones to tell him to leave or to abort his child. Of course, the other members were important to him as well, but Jimin and Jungkook... They held a different place in his heart.
Well not anymore.
Now he was empty and alone. Scared, hurt, empty and alone.
Taehyung was numb. He was at a loss and didn't know what to do. He was terrified to the core. How would he live on? What would he do? How would he raise his child? Where would he raise his child? He couldn't raise it in Korea, not with the type of society that existed there. Neither he nor his child would be safe there. There would be no one to protect the two of them. Everyone would be against him.
Taehyung closed his eyes, feeling tears gathering in them once again. He was just so scared... Scared and completely alone.
"Taehyung-ah," a familiar voice called out, causing Taehyung to open his eyes.
"Hyung?" Taehyung muttered, his voice faint and laced with fatigue.
The person who'd spoken also looked exhausted, his cheeks flushed and breath labored as indication that he had been running.
"Oh god, Taehyung. Thank god I made it," the newcomer said, taking deep breaths to even out his breathing rate. He quickly walked over to Taehyung, taking hold of his hand and pulling him into tight and warm embrace. "I thought I wouldn't make it."
"Wh-what? Bo-Bogum Hyung?" Taehyung whispered, shocked and unable to move. Why was he here? How had he known? He hadn't told the older anything, thinking he would reject Taehyung just like rest of his friends did.
"It's okay," Bogum whispered as he gently petted Taehyung's head. "Everything is going to be alright."
Taehyung's body tensed, and his mind went blank, not comprehending the situation. "H-how?" The younger boy whispered.
"It doesn't matter," Bogum said reassuringly. "You're not alone. Everything is going to be alright. Everything will be just fine."
After few seconds, Bogum let go of Taehyung, the latter still in shock and disbelief. You're not alone. Everything is going to be alright. Bogum's words repeated themselves over and over again in Taehyung's mind, not finding a place to anchor themselves.
"You're here." Another voice joined the two, and Bogum instinctively put his arm around Taehyung, pulling the silent and shocked boy closer to him.
