Chapter 04: Thayanne

(Thayne's POV)

It was 10 PM and the show had just end. I was really tired and ready to go home. When I went to the dressing room to get change, Thayanne was sleeping in the little bed I made for her. I smiled as if just seeing my daughter took all the tiredness out of my body. She looks angelic like her mother. She's precious to me since she is my first daughter. It seems like it was yesterday that she was still in my arms. I still remember the day y/n she was pregnant....

"I told you that I'll cook breakfast today! It's your birthday!" I pouted at her. As she cooks our breakfast of eggs and bacon(or any meat substitute). Y/n just rolled her eyes "fine Mr. Jasperson but wash your face first! I can still see your saliva stain in your face...... Ewww!" She teased. I shook my head smiling and went to the bathroom. After washing my face, I went back and took a seat. Y/n immediately served me a plate of pancakes, bacon, hash browns and eggs. "thank you, my Mrs. Jasperson!" I said and gave her a peck in the lips. We began to dine.
"Panda, how many kids do you want?" She asked out of nowhere
"What?....oh, maybe one or three? I don't care if they're a boy or girl as long as they're healthy!" I answered "how about you? "
"Twelve"
Dear God I choked on my food.
"Are you sure? I don't know if we can all fit in our apartment, the time, the money, who would take care for all of them... " I feel my face getting hot "a-and all the work to make twelve kids"
Y/n laughed really hard.
"I was joking, panda! I want maybe four or five kids."
I shook my head "seriously, why do all of a sudden we're talking about having kids?" I asked.
Y/n didn't say anything and stood from her seat. "It's almost eight. You'll be late if you don't change now. There's traffic by Central Park so try using your bike or skateboard. Your lunch is in the counter. Bye gotta go! " And left.
That's odd? I thought and finished my food, wash my plate, feed the dogs, change and left. She seems like she's hiding something.

We had just finished rehearsal. When y/n surprised us backstage.
"Hey guys... I brought lunch for you guys." She said
Andrew took one Lumpia (a/n: y/n brought Filipino food but can change it to any finger food from your country) "this is good" He said as he took a bite. Everyone each get their own and happily eat. Y/n gave me a plate with all of my favorite dishes.
"Thanks" I said and ate. Y/n wipe my face "come on Thayne stop eating like a kid... What do you want to drink? "
Lin sat besides me
"enjoy being babied and pampered cause next you and y/n be taking care for a baby"
My eyes widen from what Lin had just said
"baby? What baby?" I asked to y/n. She simply looked at me and kiss my lips. She handed me an opened envelope from the hospital
"Positive.... " I read. Positive... A pregnancy letter... Positive... Baby?
Then everything went black.
When I opened my eyes I was laying on the ground while everyone was looking at me worried "ugh... My head hurts..." I looked at y/n, I quickly sat up "... Your having a baby? " Y/n nodded. I hugged her "I can't... I gonna be a dad!"
Everyone gave me slaps on the back cheering "congrats!", " Nice!"

Then came when I almost thought I'll lose the two of them....

"Panda... Are you going now?" Y/n said rubbing her now swollen belly. "Can you just stay here.... please? What if she comes any minute? I know I'm not due yet till next month but..." Her face was worried. I smiled and kissed her forehead. "I need to work so I can give a good life to you and our baby... Don't worry. Vanessa said she'll come here."
She just look at me. I kissed her forehead and kneel down, putting my ear to her stomach. "Baby....don't make mommy tired. Be a good girl ok?"
Y/n run her fingers through my hair "you'll be a really great Dad"
I rolled my eyes and chuckled.
"I hope"

Later at the rehearsal Lin and I were talking about y/n. I was really worried about y/n giving birth
"Don't worry first babies is hard but you'll be fine"
Lin's phone rang. When he answered it he stood up his voice urgent.
"Thayne...we have to go" he said taking his bag and mine. I asked him what's wrong.
"Y/n got in an accident."

On the way I was crying. Please not them...not now. Greg came along with the two of us. He was driving because I know that either Lin and I with both of us in a frantic state we've also might be rushed to the hospital. We finally reached the hospital. I wanted to go inside the operating room but the nurses didn't let me in and said to stay inside. Vanessa told us that y/n got hit by a distracted driver while she and y/n were crossing the street. Please...I'm begging you Heavenly Father let them both live. An hour...two...three hours have passed. Lin already called Tommy that we would stay here all night. I didn't even touched my cookies, how can I eat when my wife is almost dying?

The doctor walked out of the labor room. She took me to the side and explained that due to her being hit by a car caused her to gave birth a month early. She said that with that impact from the accident could be potentially harmful to both y/n and our baby. It's either she's born with a handicap or worst- born dead.

I don't know what to do.

That night I cried myself to sleep. I was hoping my wife and daughter are ok, this is the time I felt so down....I just prayed they're both safe...

"Thayne.....Thayne...wake up..." A voice cooed me to wake up. I opened my eyes it was Vanessa along with Jasmine, Renee, Philipa and Lin. "We bought you breakfast...."

I quickly stood up and cried "are they both ok?"
Lin gave me a pat on the shoulder " congratulations bud...your officially a daddy now"
I couldn't stop crying...I'm a father now.
Lin and the others lead me to y/n's room. When I opened the door, it was the most beautiful moment in my life.
Y/n sitting on the bed carrying our baby. My baby.

Y/n looked up and smiled. "Panda... she's so adorable...she gave me a hard time but 5:30 am today...she finally came out"
I walked up to her and wrapped my arms around her. Kissing her temple, thankful I still have both of them.

I looked at our baby. Her eyes closed, her hair just like my hair and everything she's like me.

"I think I have the perfect name...Thayanne" I nodded I loved it!

"Can I carry her?" Y/n gently placed Thayanne in my arms. She slowly opened her eyes, brown and bright. This is my little girl.

"She looks just like you Thayne" y/n teased.
I was too caught up in the moment I didn't noticed Lin came in with others. "This is so cute...and...gosh...I can't say it" Jasmine laugh cried. Vanessa took a picture of the three of us. Renee even made the day more amazing.

"Thayne, you do know what day it is right?" She asked
"The day my little Thayanne was born?"
Y/n tugged my shoulder "Thayne you really forgot? It's your birthday!"

Gosh,
I was so caught up with everything, I was so worried about Thayanne and y/n that I forgot it was my birthday! At least I got the most amazing gift ever!

"You really waited that you'll be born the same day as my birthday uh?...Don't worry daddy will always be here.. I'll always be here"

Now I'm here with Thayanne...but it's not complete because she's not here with us...
