Chapter Three

It was the last day of my training, I have been training for a few moons now, and DarkenPelt says I'm ready to be a warrior , he just wanted to spend one day making sure I remembered everything, I haven't talked to ShadowPaw or his sisters in a while because I've been so busy with training, and I haven't seen them in a while. I woke up and rolled onto my stomach to sit up, I then did stand up and stretched , then walked out of the apprentice den, my mentor greeted me outside the den, the tom was waiting for me outside the den. " Good morning , my new little warrior friend. Want to go hunting in the morning? I'll let you eat the prey, and we can bring some back here. You have assessment tomorrow so we will have to train hard today. " The dark tom purred, " Ok! I can't wait to be a warrior, I'm kinda nervous .. " I admitted, nervously giving my fluffy chest a few licks out, anxiously. " It'll be fine, trust me. Come on, let's go hunt before we stand here all moon talking." DarkenPelt reassured and stood up, and started walking out of the camp, we dunked into a tunnel of the entrance and pushed through to the thorns, I followed him, my head hung down. We did what we did on the first training I ever had, DarkenPelt sat down and watched me hunt, or more of waited for me to come back with prey. I gave the tom a nod and walked off into the tall grass, doing as what I was taught , I got down close to the ground , slowly moving slowly but swiftly through and in the grass, I heard the bushes in front of me moving and I pounced, and caught a frog, Thank you for the prey, StarClan! I picked it up and started to carry it back to my mentor, I got to him and felt I strange presence , eyes piercing through the back of my head, my fur pricked, but I sighed and tried to ignore the feeling. I held the prey up to my mentor. He held the food in his mouth , he will add it to the fresh kill pile when we get back to camp. " Hunt something else, I'll be waiting here for your return." DarkenPelt meowed, I nodded and started to walk away from him, and then did the same thing as before and caught a large toad. Thank you once again, StarClan. I was carrying it back to the tom but heard a screech and hiss, my fur pricked again and I dropped the prey and rushed over to my mentor, fearing of what I was going to see.
