Niall's POV
I unlock my phone and check the message from Zayn.
Hey, mate, I just saw an article about what happened the other day. I was drunk, I swear, and I can't believe even my drunk self would kiss a married woman right when I was going to propose to my girlfriend. I can see why you wouldn't forgive me but I just wanted to put it out there that I'm sorry. ~ Zayn
My eyes widen at the text. I reread it and then start typing back.
Look, it's not the worst that's happened in the last three days. I forgive you, mate. ~ Niall
I hit send and wait for his response. While I wait I walk downstairs and head for the kitchen. Once I'm in the room I grab a bag of crisps. Suddenly my head is pounding and the room is turning around me. My vision gets blurry and everything goes black.
No Point of View
A loud boom sounds throughout the large house after Niall hits the ground. The crisp packet is crunched under his left foot and a bottle of water has rolled of the counter and onto the floor.
As Niall slowly awakes a sharp pain goes through his head. As he sits up a flash of light appears in his eyes, causing his head to throb harder by the second.
Suddenly, a small memory is brought up. The night he met Amber. How lonely he felt on the swing in the park that night. The bag of crisps he was eating was the same as the one he had just grabbed.
He remembered how easily he told her his whole life. How quickly she knew about his cuts.
Niall rolled up his right sleeve and examined the old, old scars. Another memory came back. When he was angered because his parents wanted him back Mullinger, away from Amber. A intense pain grew in his wrist, reminding him of what he did in the bathroom that day.
The pain felt so close to the pain of slicing the skin with razor that day that his left hand started to do a cutting motion.
Once the pain had stopped he sat there, shocked. Then he grabbed the crisps , stood up, and went towards the couch. he say down on and put on the FIFA World Cup. And as he sat there, he regretted everything in the past three days.
