Knowing my luck, This'll get worse

Percy P.O.V.

I groaned as I sat up. One of my pillows was missing but I didn't care right now. I have school today. Yay... NOT! I'm still annoyed about that. With a groan, I got up and changed into a sea green shirt and jeans. I didn't bother with my hair as I walked towards the elevator. Nico met me on the way down and we both grumbled good morning. When we got downstairs I noticed Thalia and Natasha sleeping on the couch. No one was awake yet, besides Pepper, who looked bored out of her mind. The Wonder Woman movie was playing as well. I slowly crept over to shake Thalia awake but froze. I suddenly smiled as an idea came to my head. "Nico." I whispered. "Remember where Tony hid that airhorn?" Nico grinned and nodded before running to the kitchen quietly. He came back a minute later with, not one, but two airhorns. He handed one to me and we both nodded. Pepper tried to cover her ears. Taking pity, I carefully pulled her away and started a countdown as Pepper started towards the elevator. "Three... two... one..."

Tony's P.O.V.

I was scared out of bed by the sound of Thalia and Natasha screaming in anger and Pepper, Percy, and Nico running in before quickly slamming and locking the door to my room. They were both exhausted. "Hey... *Gasp* uncle Tony... *Pant* how are... *gasp* you?" I rolled my eyes at the two. "What'd you do?" Pepper meowed but I ignored her. "We decided to wake Thals up for school. She was in the living room and we remembered where you hid that air horn." I rolled my eyes before getting up and the two started laughing. "What?" I asked them. "Y-you w-ware yourself o-on your p-pajamas? HAHAHA!" Percy gasped out between laughs. True to their words, I was wearing an iron man onesie. Pepper meowed again before tugging Nico to my bathroom. Before we could see what was up, Natasha and Thalia busted THROUGH MY WINDOW!

"HEY!!!" I yelled. But a glare from Natasha made me shut up. "Never mind, Percy you are on your own." I glanced towards the bathroom to see Nico mouthing something to Percy. "What?" Percy said, acting. "But It was Your Idea!" I sent him a death glare and than turned to glare at Nico, but he was gone. The door, wide open. I sighed as I realized something bad was about to happen. But knowing my luck, this'll get worse.

Nico P.O.V.

I laughed silently as I followed Pepper through the vents. "Next time, I'll listen to you." I said to the cat. She meowed as if to say, you better. I felt surprisingly safe in the dark vents, like I was back in the underworld with Hades... Man... last night my dad had appeared after I got a text from Will (Leo monster proofed the demigods phones). He had said 'Nico, I don't know if you're reading this but I can only hope you're alive. The Gods won't tell me anything but I doubt Hades, Poseidon, or Zeus would allow their kids to kill themselves. If you really did die, I can't wait to see you again. But if you didn't, and you ran away, know I miss you. I left camp. I couldn't deal with looking around and seeing you everywhere, Nico. I can't even close my eyes without seeing you. Everything at Camp sucks. Half the kids are trying to get rid of Percy's brother while the others are happy you three are gone. Even Annabeth, for the Gods sakes. Ever since the day we were told you died, Annabeth has been more public about being with Kai than she was when Percy was around. Rayna, Jason, Hazle, and I miss you. We're here for you and wish you'd come visit... not the camp, but us. Please talk to me, soon. Will. (P.S. If I find out you overworked yourself, your dead'

My eyes widened as I suddenly realized I didn't see Pepper anywhere. Before I could shadow travel, I heard a meow. I looked down and realized we were in a vet right above my room and Pepper had opened the grate. Even better, it was right over my bed. I fell down, nearly crushing Pepper in the process, before being back in my pitch black room. Pepper meowed and I looked over at her. She was sitting on my nightstand with her tail pointed at my alarm clock. I realized Percy, Thalia, and I need to be at school in ten minutes. "Oh... Fudge."

I grabbed my black backpack before heading to the elevator. "J.a.r.v.i.s., grab Percy and Thalia. Tell them we have to go, now." I ordered. "Right away, sir." I noticed J.a.r.v.i.s' voice sounded slightly feminine but ignored it. Pepper, who had come with, stared at the camera as if looking at someone. By the time Percy and Thalia were downstairs I realized we had a little less than ten minutes to get to a school that's fifteen minutes away. Pepper watched us leave as we quickly headed towards a ally. Once we were hidden, I shadow traveled us to the school. But knowing my luck, this'll get work.

Pepper P.O.V.

'Finally! They take FOREVER!' I ran towards the elevator and Nirvana let me up. Luckily, all the Avengers were in the living room. I meowed but was, surprise, ignored. I meowed several more times only to be met with a 'Shut up Pepper.' I rolled my yellow/green eyes. 'You sure you want this?' I meowed again and was told to shut up. 'Oh. You want this.' I hopped onto the counter where one of Tony's wine bottles were. I meowed once more, but was ignored. 'Fine.' I kicked the bottle and it shattered as it hit the ground. Tony started chasing me so I ran to the kitchen. I was able to get the false floor up right before Tony tripped in it. "Yeow! Stupid Cat!" 'Oh hell no.' He continued chasing me so I randomly spun around, bit his hand, and sat in the box on top of the binder. The other Avengers were finding this highly amusing. I was to, until Tony hit me with enough force to knock me out of the hole (hitting my leg in the process) and being slammed into the wall. I don't think he thought he would actually hit me, but right now, I don't care. Every bit of me hurt and I yeowled out in pain, close to tears. Clint was next to me so I pointed a paw between him and the binder. Thor was able to stop things before they could get worse and Clint checked the box. "Um, Master Tony." Nirvana/J.a.r.v.i.s. said. "I believe Pepper was trying to get your attention. She was pretty paiten and obvious." I rolled my eyes again. 'A little late, Nirvana.' I thought before pain shot up my back leg. I yeowled out again and Tony realized what had happened. "Umm... sorry Pepper." I hissed at him and attempted to retreat. No luck. However, knowing my luck, this'll get worse.
