Time Too Short

Year 2

Entry 1

Today Abby got her baby teeth in. Yay! Since she was getting her teeth in I went to the store to buy some teething rings or whatever they are called for her to bite and chew on. Once I gave it to her she instantly loved it. All she did was bite it and never once threw it. This is amazing. She always throws things she hates.

Entry 2

Today is Abby's first birthday. Abby was sitting in her booster as all my friends and family sang Happy Birthday. We cut a marble cake and gave the first and smallest piece to Abigail. She played with her cake as she ate. Abby loves to play with her food no matter what it is. I guess she has gotten into a habit. Anyways when we opened presents she pointed to a small shiny present in the corner. I picked it up to give to Abby to open. She got out of her chair and started walking. This was the first time Abigail ever started walking. She continued walking until she was next to me and grabbed the box. Abby ripped the wrapping paper to find a small plush panda. Abigail smiled and played with it. I guessed she loved the plushie. She wouldn't even let it leave her side. During the rest of the opening, I could tell that the panda was still her favorite. Once everyone was gone at the end of the day Abby fell asleep holding the panda tightly. This was the best first year with Abigail and I hope for many others.

Entry 3

Today Abby had gotten lost in a store called Babies to Kids. I was buying shoes when at some point I noticed that Abby wasn't in her stroller. So I ran to the cash register to tell an employee about it when I saw Abby looking at plushies. So I bought her a new plushie because they were cute and shoes.
