4. Intruders

The guys left my house about an hour ago. They were all so mad about having to work with the Elite crew, they ordered four pizzas and they angry ate every last slice.

We have never worked with girls before. Scratch that, we have never worked with anyone before. Anyway, I get the feeling they might slow us down. Then again, the way that angry curly haired brunette lunged at Zay was kind of scary. Maybe they're not so dainty and they'll actually help. After all, Captain did say we were the two best crews.

I think the worst part for me will be having to work with that girl. Her captain called her agent Vega. I bet her name is nice...

What?! What are you thinking Cameron. You already carry too much baggage, don't throw her in the sack. And even if you were interested in her she sure as hell didn't seem interested in you. I am going to have to steer clear from her. Only work related business. Her hair is nice though, it fell straight to her waist. I wonder if that was her natural hair or if she straightened it like girls did.

"Wow" I say to myself "wonder if she straightens it... how gay is that?" I get up and grab the pizza boxes to take out to the trash. Once outside, I dump the boxes and check the mail. Bills, bills, bills, letter from mom, bills, bills. Wait what? I keep turning envelopes until I come find the letter again, why is she writing to me? I feel a deep anger consume me and I keep walking into the house. Not now, I cant let her mess up my vibe, not before a mission. I stuff the mail including the letter in the basket by the door. She can wait.

As I start to walk upstairs my phone vibrates in my shorts pocket. I stop and pull it out and click on the messaging app. Its Kace.

Cam, someone broke into Jax and Zay's. Meet me there in ten.

What? I turn around and go back down the stairs into the living room. I slide on my running shoes and grab my gun. I decide to run there since the guys live down the block from me and driving there would make noise anyway. I make it to the house and meet Kace behind the bushes in the front lawn. Together we stealthily move to the back of the house and enter trough the kitchen door. Everything is dark and quiet.

All of a sudden the lights go on and someone jumps on top of me and Kace. All of my senses go on full alert and I start punching air. My fist hits something and I hear a soft "humph" Everything stops and my vision starts to focus on the two attackers... Jax and Zay.

"What the heck Jax?!" I say as I get up and grab Kace's arm to help him up too. "What are you guys doing?" 

Jax puts his gun away and looks around the kitchen nervously "We thought you guys were the intruders, but if you're not..." All our eyes go wide and we all draw our guns and stand guard. We keep looking around the kitchen for the real intruder, but nothing happens. I open cupboards, pantry, and laundry room all empty. We do this for about ten minutes and we are about to give up when we hear a slight rattling coming from the living room. I look at Kace and he mouths Broken window! 

Last summer when me and Kace still lived with the guys, a kitten got stuck on the top of the tree outside the living room window. Kace made us drag a ladder out there and he climbed to the top and helped the kitten. On his way down, the ladder stumbled and fell and hit the window right after Kace jumped out of the way with the animal. The window kind of came off its hinges and now it is very difficult to get it open.

I nod at him and we all take off. We burst into the living room to see three dark figures struggling to open the window. "Hey!" I scream and we all attack. Jax, Kace, and Zay all wrestle with an intruder while I move over to the window and close their escape way. The lights come on and the intruders are wearing ski masks. "Tie them up" I yell and the guys start to gather them up. At this point I have no idea what we are going to do with them but I just want to know what is going on.

"Hey Cameron?" Jax calls over to me with a confused expression. "What?" I put my gun away. "These intruders are girls" He says as he tightens his grip on the one he is holding. "How do you know?" I am getting frustrated.

"Well...they have boobs" he says.

"No way!" Zay's face lights up and he starts feeling his prisoners chest. "They are girls!" he says after making sure.

And then the prisoner speaks! "Hey dumb ass, enough with the groping" She tries to get away but Zay has a death grip.

After tying them, we take off their masks. The shock is evident in the guys faces when we find out its none other than our new partners...the Elite crew.
