NU’EST’s Baekho has been found not guilty of sexual assault.
On April 16, it was reported that the prosecution had dismissed the case and acquitted Baekho of sexual assault charges, ending an eight month-long legal dispute that began in 2017.
Pledis Entertainment confirmed the news and stated, “We received an official notice today that he has been cleared of all charges.” They emphasized, “This is proof that what was alleged never happened to begin with, and that Baekho is innocent.”
In June 2017, person “A” claimed she was sexually assaulted by Baekho when they were in middle school in 2009. She pressed charges against him and the police forwarded the case to the prosecution in September.
At the time, Pledis Entertainment released an official statement denying all allegations and stated that they would be taking legal action on the grounds of a violation of laws regarding the promotion of information and communication network use and protection of information.

Let's shower Baekho's SNS some good words. He's been in hell for this. Imagine yourself being in his situation. Some may back him up, claiming that he is innocent but sadly, there are people who thinks he is the bad guy here saying that we don't know him that much and that we are (fans) just saying it because we idolize him.
To the people who believes in him, thank you very much. For some, it may not be important but to him, it is. Not everyone can understand a situation, and not to mention, it happened when he is grieving for his father's death. Imagine the look they gave him when he is outside. We may not know this but this is what usually happens. He may act tough but no one knows that he might be dealing all this pain alone.
It saddened me when his ad was removed due to this accusation. That we cannot fully express our gratitude for him because of this case. I am just so happy that it's over.
