The Demon War

I wake up with my head still placed on top of Sam's chest. I look up at him to see his sleeping face. I lift my body up so I'm sat up.

I kiss his cheek and he hugs me and brings me to his body.
"I know you're awake, Sam!"

He lifts an eyelid and smirks. "How did you know?" He chuckles and I giggle.

We hear a knock in the door and we sit up. Sam and I say 'Come in' at the same time and the boys, their wives, the demons and Saero. No Diana though...

"Wow, didn't know we were having a party!" Sam says and then sees his brother's faces. "What's wrong?" He raises an eyebrow and they sigh.

"The demon lord killed Diana... in her sleep... so we can't possibly fight the war..." James looks at me. "I'm sorry, Miss..."

I look at the floor. My vision gets blurry.... Am I crying? Why... Because Diana died? Because we possibly can't do this? Because...
"No..."
"Huh?"

Everting looks at me and I wipe my eyes.

"No... I won't let him win!" I jump out of bed and rush out of the room.
I hear Sam shout me but I don't stop running. The demon lord has killed so many people, it needs to end!

I run to the front of the castle, and shove the doors open. I summon my sword and I run to the Demon lord's castle.

I can feel my body fill with anger and rage. My body is screaming.

I approach the castle and I hear a distant scream from Sam. I look behind me and I see him running towards me. I stay in place and I let him catch up to me.

"Doofus... what are you doing?" I look at him and I have to force my eyes to not well up with tears.

"I've had enough of the Demon Lord! He.... he's killed enough people... time to get a taste of his own medicine!" Bonfire me or Sam could say anything else, I can feel a arm grab my shoulders.

"AHAHAHAHAH!!! I got the little bitch now, 'Saaaam!'" It's Malix... "Now she can be the devils little sex toy!"

"Fuck off, Malix? How are you not dead?" Sam glares at him and Malix let's go if my shoulders and walks in front of me.

"You thought your pussy ass kicks and punches can kill me?? You fucking thought wrong!" I glare at Malix and he turns to face me. "Wow! I can feel your energy, little bitch! If only I could have you as my own!!"

Before he could say any more, I tightened the grip on my sword and run towards him. He summoned his gun and attempted to shoot me but he kept missing. I kept slightly cutting his arms but it was a little skim.

He kept giving me attack's that I kept dodging and he stopped and looked at Sam. "I see why you like her! She's a big fat ball of juicy energy!" I didn't care if he wanted to talk, I wanted him dead.

I quietly run behind him and thrust my sword through this body, I cut his body in half and I turn my face to not see the sight.

I then remembered why I was here, to fight the demon lord... I rushed off to the gate at the front of the castle and ran up the stairs.

I ran that fast, Sam could barely keep up with me. He grabbed my arm and pulled me to his chest. "What are you doing, Doofus?" I look up at him.

"I don't know... I wanna kill him.." He looks at me with a worried expression. "Sam... he's evil! He needs to die... if it doesn't go well... fight him with me...."

He looked at me with worry in his eyes but he nodded.

"Shout my name if you need me!" Sam looked at me and let go of my wrist. He stood still as I walked away. "I'll stay here..." I look back and I wished I didn't...

I walk to the hall where the demon lord is sat in his chair.

"Oh.... what a surprise! Human, why are you here?" He evilly smiles at me. I tighten the grip on my sword and frown at him. "Not talking? Why not?" He cackles then he lays his eyes on me.

I glare at him and he laughs. "You wanna fight me?" He stands up and pulls out his sword. "Let's DANCE!!"

He runs towards me and retires to stab me, I quickly dodge his attack and I manage to stab my sword in his shoulder. As I did, I cut off his left arm.

He lets out a pain filled grunt and glares daggers at me.... literally...

Daggers fly towards me and I deflect them all with my sword. "You're a good fighter, human!!"

"It takes a lot of training... old man!" I could see fire burn in his eyes.

"That's it! I was taking it easy on you... I've had ENOUGH!!!"

He summons two strikes of lightning and he throws them at me. I have no time to react so they pinned me to the wall.

I feel unbearable pain run through me body.

"AOMARIS!!!" I shout Sam's name and a white light appears. The light faded and Sam looked at me.

"Mika..." He runs towards me and rips the lightening strikes out of my body. They didn't leave any cuts which was good!

Sam looked back at the demon lord and he ran towards him, still holding me in his arms. He keeps throwing attacks at the demon lord and he doesn't stop.

Sam ended up cutting the other arm off of his body.... and his legs. Sam finished attacking the demon lord and just left the room.

"Is he dead?" I look up at Sam. He still had me in his arms.

He looks down at me and chuckles. "Yes, yes he is."
