Jack took a deep breathe and entered the club.
"Oh hiya, come in!!" Mel said full of glee as she walked past the entrance noticing his presence out of the corner of her eye. He nodded and proceeded to follow her into the office.
"Sit down" Mel continued gesturing him to the chair opposite herself on the desk. "So I wanted to show you some of my refurbishment ideas" Jack nodded knowingly and slowly started to flick through the folder presentation Mel had put together the previous day.
After a short moment of silence from the pair as Mel waited patiently for a reaction from Jack she looked up and said "You're very quiet Jack, are you alright?"
He lifted his sad eyes from the sketches to look at her.
"Yeah.. I'm fine. It's just.. It's the first time i've properly been in here since you know.. Ronnie" he muttered
"Oh I see." she looked down at her own sketches with an innocent smile, then placed her hand on Jack's giving it a little squeeze before getting up from the chair and walking over to the filing cabinet. "You can take those and go and have a look around seeing where you think they'll best fit" She said
"Alright" Jack said picking up the folder and tucking in the chair.
"I'll be in here if you need me" she replied.

He stared at her for a short while and then walked out of the office staring at the club before him. So many memories. He walked down the 3 steps in which he always remembered counting every time he went up and down them. He didn't know why he did this, he thought it was just a habit however it was what he would listen to sitting in the office many years before to know Ronnie's presence. This brought a tear to his eye. He walked along the bar looking down at the floor remembering himself just lying there after he was shot and his loved ones screaming his name as he lie there in agony. He burst into a pool of silent tears on the floor.

"Jack?" a familiar voice said
Jack looked up to see a silhouette in which he had seen before.
"Ronnie??" He asked.
Suddenly the figure became more clear. It was Ronnie!
There she was standing there in her gorgeous lace wedding dress, her long blonde locks draped over shoulders & her rosy cheeks glowing in the darkness. She looked more beautiful than ever. Distorted, but beautiful
"Ronnie is that really you?" He said desperately
"Why are you crying?" Ronnie asked, her soft voice echoing the room.
"I.. I miss you!" he said walking slowly towards her. She lifted her hand slightly for him to hold and he pulled it towards him kissing it softly.
"I miss you too Jack, but i'm always here. Watching you, keeping you safe. And the kids. I love the bones of you Mr Branning" she said wiping the tears from his eyes
"I love you too" He replied.
And at that very moment she faded away.
