Daniel's POV

Henry has not left my side since I told him about what happened at lunch. He wanted to know every single detail.
I couldn't wait until the day was done. 5pm.
Only 2 hours left. 2 hours.
I sit back and try to concentrate on setting up my work profile. The last hours of the work day flew by quite quickly and before I knew it, it was time.

I shut down my computer and stood up, grabbing my satchel on the way to the elevator. I step inside and press the button to take me to the top floor. I start to fidget as I realize what I'm doing. I should feel dirty. I should feel like a slutty man boy but... I don't. It all feels so natural. I can't explain it.
The lift reaches the top floor and I step out, gasping at the sight in front of me. The top floor is decorated exactly the same as the whole building, yet much more fancy in a way. I take my time looking around the room and spot the lady at a reception desk. Or should I say the bitch from this morning. I give her a sneaky sneer and she glares at me in return. She's about to say something when the big mahogany doors open and Elijah walks out. As soon as he spots me his face lights up and he picks up his pace. I can't help but notice the widening of her eyes as she follows his every move.

"Ashley," he says. "Pack up your things. You're free to go." Not once does he disconnect our gaze. "Oh, and young Daniel here is welcome in my office any time he likes. No reason needed. Got that?" He quickly glances at her and she slowly nods, eyes like saucers. When she doesn't leave, he sighs and looks at her again until her mouth forms an "o" shape and she grabs her things, scurrying away.
"Come, my Angel. Let me show you around." Elijah puts his arm around my shoulder again and leads me into his office. He starts talking about this and that but in all honesty, all I can think about is how close I am to the sexiest man on earth. All of a sudden he chuckles, bringing me back down to earth. "Sorry, I must be boring you. Come, sit down and tell me about yourself."
He sits down first and as I'm about to follow his lead he pulls me onto his lap and puts his head in the crook of my neck, inhaling in my scent. A blush creeps its way onto my face and goosebumps form all over my body.
"Uhm, well you know my name. I'm 21 years old. I have a degree in business that I achieved through Georgetown. My best friend, whom you've already met is Henry Evans and I have a dog that I adore, Scruffy." My eyes light up as I talk about my little pup and Elijah notices, smiling in adoration. "And you?" I can't help but ask. He raises his eyebrow which makes me bite my lip. This results in him licking his. He clears his throat and moves his arms to rest around the bottom of my waist. "I'm 32. I own this company. I'm probably not very nice and I definitely don't like most people. I cannot stand someone in my space but you.. I want you in my space all the time. Every second of every day." He sends me a wink as he finishes and grips me tighter. "I like you, my Angel. I know we just met but I like you." I blush as I look him in the eye. "I like you too," I whisper back. His lips curl up into the biggest smile and he leans forward.

"May I?" He asks with his lips basically touching mine. I take in a big breath of air and nod.
Our lips connect and he kisses me like I've never been kissed before. I follow his lead and wrap my arms around his neck. We kiss for a while until my breath runs out and I pull away. He rests his forehead against mine and we stare into each other's eyes. "My angel," he murmurs and pecks me on the nose. This time, my phone interrupts us and I jump. He chuckles and pulls me closer, refusing to let go of me just yet. I take out my phone and see Henry's name. I give Elijah an apologetic look and he nods with a bit of a frown. I wonder what that's about. "Hey Henry." "DANIEL WALKER!" He screeches in my ear. I pull the phone away and pull a face. Elijah raises his eyebrow but starts to rub my back. "What?" I ask, sort of annoyed that he ruined our moment. "Excuse me? You have no right to be grumpy! It's been an hour and I haven't heard from you!" My eyes widen as I look at the clock on the wall, not realizing that we've been kissing for so long. I look at Elijah and he shoots a wink my way. "Sorry buddy, I wasn't keeping track of the time. I'll let you know when I leave." Elijah's frown deepens and I cam literally feel his mood changing. "Don't forget the pizza!" Henry manages to say before I end the call.

I look at Elijah and put my hand on his cheek. "Everything okay?" It's silent for a few seconds before he decides to answer. "Are you sure he's not your boyfriend? Because I'm definitely not planning on sharing you." I blush at this and manage to build up enough courage to lean forward and kiss him where my hand is.
"Yes, I promise. We've been friends for a very long time. We have a pizza movie night every Monday evening. Trust me, strictly friends." Elijah stares at me for a while before he sighs and nods.

It took me a while to convince him to let me go for the evening after promising him I'll text him every half an hour. He kissed me just as passionately and walked me home. He wanted to drive us there but I insisted on getting some fresh air.
As we got to the door he spun me around. "Good night my Angel. I'll miss you, but I know I'll see you tomorrow. Unfortunately I won't be able to visit you before work as I have to jet off to Seattle for a meeting at 6am but I will find my way to you as soon as I can." I nodded and stretched out my arms for a hug. Elijah smiled and pulled me to him, giving me one last kiss on my forehead he turned and walked to the car that followed us here.
Just before getting in he turned around and winked.
