Hide and Seek

Brantley's POV

I am walking to the cabins to check on the guys when I see everyone playing corn hole. My cousin Ally who's parents died a couple years ago in a car accident is playing and Jason my buddy is staring at her. I shake it off not thinking anything about it and join them playing on my guitar. We all hang out till Kolby, Hailey, Ari, Luke, James, and Toby fall asleep then call it a night. I pick up Hailey who is out cold and turn to see Ally falling asleep. I stand there trying to decide what to do when Jason one of the only sober or awake people here says "B go take care of Hailey I'll get her up to her room." I narrow my eyes at him and he says "Relax B I'm not going to try anything relax." "Ok" I say then walk inside and up to bed.

Ally's POV

I was drifting off to sleep when I feel someone pick me up. I jolt up and try to get down when the person says "Hey easy Ally easy it's me you're out of it I'll carry you up to bed. I got you." and I immediately know it's Jason.

I nod and let myself drift off some then say drowsily "You know there's this guy I like" "Yeah and who is that?" he says "Oh I'm not supposed to like him." "Why's that?" "He's my cousin's best friend." "So?" "He has this amazing voice" Jason starts singing and I say "Hey you sound just like him."

"Ok sugar" "That's funny the guy I like always calls me that" "Well what's his name I'm good with secrets?" "Jason" "Jason huh? You mean like me Jason or somebody else named Jason?"

My head flies up fast and blush then look away as he sits me down on the bed. He says "By the way you're not the only one who likes someone." "Yeah but you'd never like me." He frowns then gently presses his lips to mine and says "Totally opposite. So Ally will you go out with me?"

"Yes but what about B?" "Well we can date in secret till we figure out how to tell him?" "Yeah" "Ok well get some sleep baby girl" he says then kisses my forehead. I close my eyes and drift off to sleep thinking of us.

Brantley's POV

2 Weeks Later

The other day I saw Jason Kiss Ally and I'm pissed as Hell. This morning Ally left to go stay at a friends house so I approach Jason.

"Jason" "Huh" he says looking for me. I walk to where he's standing in the kitchen and shove him up against the wall.

"What the Hell" he yells. "When were you going to tell me you're sleeping with my cousin Jason?" his face drops and he says "B look.." "No don't tell me to look. You deliberately go behind my back to get with my cousin who's 8 years younger than you and barely legal when you know I'm protective of and tell me to look. What the hell is wrong with you?"

"B please let me explain." "What is there to explain you betrayed me and lied about it?" "B what do you think I'm honestly doing with your cousin?" "I don't know because neither of you will tell me shit and I know how you are. You're a player you break hearts." "B see this why I didn't want to tell you yet. I know what I was B and it's not like that. I would never hurt Ally. I get you are protective and all that but do you really think I'm playing her?" "I don't know anymore" "B I get why you're hesitant but can you please let me go and we can sit and have a civilized conversation please?" "Fine" I drop him and walk into the living room and sit and he quickly follows.

"Look B I get it but I'm not like that." "Have you slept with her?" "B what the h..." "Have you slept with her?" I ask even angrier. "No of course not" "Wheat the Hell is that supposed to mean?" I yell/growl while standing up. "B what I meant by that is, she's barely 18 years old, she's still figuring the world out, she's not ready for that at all and I know that and respect that. Bro do you really think I'm in this for sex?"

"I don't know bro" "B I'm in this relationship because when I'm with Ally the worlds problems disappear, I feel so much happier. B she's it for me. She's the one I want to spoil and love and protect and care for, for the rest of my life. I don't think I've been as happy as I am with Ally."

Wow. Is all I can think. I mean looking in his eyes all I see is truth and passion. I sigh and rub my hand down my face then say "Look Jason I'm sorry t's just she has no one and she's my baby cousin." "B I get it" "Look just promise me this" "anything" "Don't you know sleep with her until you know...." "I go it B and I promise." "Good this may take time for me to fully get comfortable and used to but I will support y'all." "Thank you" "Good now go so I can go work out." He nods then laughs as he walks out.
